Starbucks — Restaurant in Royal Oak

Love this Starbucks. Great location, high volume, nice atmosphere and good roasts.

I love the area in general. It used to have extended hours until 1130PM, however, beginning just last week they dropped down their hours and now close at 1030 PM. I was a bit bummed out today, as I drove from Warren to this Starbucks because it stated they were open 'til 1130 PM. At 1030PM, I unexpectedly was told to leave. Myself and a few other guests were surpised, as the updated hours were nowhere to be found in-store or online. In fact, it still currently states they're open until 1130 PM. Hope they do update their hours to reflect the change.

Also, lastly, the manager/staff were rather rude and abrupt about telling us that we had to leave. They initially acted oblivious when I told them it stated they close at 1130 PM, however later admitted that the change occurred within the past week...

All's well that ends well. I will still come here to study, I just dislike that their hours were not updated!...

Everyone here is awesome, there's no two ways about it. The coffee, tea, treats are of course well done and never flawed for me. Consistency is key and they nail it!

Most importantly is the friendliness of the staff and the welcoming nature of this particular store. These guys and gals need a raise, no doubt about it. Especially if they can tolerate people like me three times a day.

I was once a dunkin doughnuts person, that failed with the quality of... Well lack of service and consistency, then I tried bigby for awhile and while their service is lickity split and extremely welcoming, their products are way too sweet and thick. Tim Hortons? Not unless I'm in Canada, thanks...This store is always clean and accommodating, I hit it up often on my long drive from work and I don't see that letting up anytime soon.

I spend more than enough money here to give these lads and lasses a raise, they've earned it....

This is usually my go to Starbucks but today I was really disappointed and so decided to share this. Ordered a flat white but the cup had a lot emptiness on top and the amount of foam would put a cappuccino to shame. Also, there was no sign of the cinnamon dolce shots I had on order. I know Starbucks has better standards for consistency of drinks and I know they are capable to do better. This must have been a one off error and not be a Karen but maybe next time I'll go back to the store and request the proper drink. Should have taken a sip right away instead of waiting till I got back home.
