Beyond terrible experience. My daughter and granddaughter went to the store today and the saleswoman wouldnât listen to my granddaughterâs preferences and refused to take a dress down from a mannequin when we couldnât find any in that particular style in her size or color, just to keep their âpurple dress aestheticâ at the front window. They could have easily placed another dress on the mannequin and allowed her to try on the one she wanted. I used to work in retail/customer service, and would never hesitate to take anything off a mannequin for a customer. Also, this boutique runs as if it is a bar taking walk ins. Have your clients schedule appointments. No one wants to wait in their car for two hours just to be treated poorly. You lost a potential sale. Learn what sensory processing disorder is, and listen when youâre told what a client can or cannot tolerate when it comes to clothing. This experience was so appalling that I couldnât just sit back and not say anything (despite my daughter and granddaughter not wanting me to). She doesnât even want to go to her dance anymore.
Update Your waitlist system is not as organized as you think it is. The longer wait may have been an isolated incident, Iâll give you that, but please do not deny them waiting for the amount of time that they did. In regards to the sensory processing disorder, sensory processing disorder is not just getting overwhelmed with a lot of people, noise, etc. Touch is one of the five senses too. In my granddaughterâs case, it was her clothing sensitivities that were not taken into account (not the environment of your store) so coming in on a busy Saturday was perfectly fine. And the dresses that were shown as alternatives were not the same exact dress as on the mannequin. The slit was higher. None of those dresses she tried on were her size, and it would have been so easy just to take the dress off the mannequin and let her try on something that actually would fit her, especially with the given...

A few years later, here I am finding myself needing a farewell gown for my pageant title - a bit emotional for me, too.
All the years I had not seen Shaharzad or her mother, Halah, they had spent lots of time continuing to support me on Instagram, which is how I found their boutique, Hermz.
Thank goodness for that, because I had to stop in, and it was the best experience I've ever had in a dress store. I have bought, and even designed, loads of dresses in my past, and I'm so glad I found this hidden gem.
I live about 40 minutes from Hermz, but it's so worth the drive. I brought my family and best friend, and made sure to not go on a super busy day because I know they're hopping during prom season.
Shaharzad and her mother Hala were so sweet, kind, and gave me loads of advice - because I am indecisive and love opinions. They were so incredible and I've recommended everyone to go here. Google review isn't letting me attach a photo for some reason but I ended up getting this gorgeous one shoulder Sherri Hill Ball Gown that I will keep forever, and probably wear at my wedding reception one day!
I highly recommend going here, and spending time waiting if you have to, because I just love it. I've gone here with some of my fellow pageant sisters a few times, too, to help them! I also recently went with my friend who is getting married because her mother needed a mother of the bride dress. They literally are ordering her a dress in her color and size, AND an extra piece of sequins and rhinestones so it can be a little extra customized for her. They had a BLAST.
Every bit of the selection is unique, and I always felt they have cared about us and spent time really helping us.
I will go here for years to come. I am SO thankful and cannot recommend...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service! Thinking they donât realize they arenât the only dress store in the area. The owner was incredibly rude and because of this lost business. Waited over an hour for a fitting room but was then yelled at for taking too long. With how much these dresses cost you would think they would invest in a nicer store rather than having to shop in an outdated shoe box.
Edit - thank you for your response, unfortunately I believe you are thinking of the wrong customers. To refresh your memoryâŚwe were yelled at by the owner while waking around with 2 dresses trying to decide which one she was going to either buy or order. The owner chased us down, yelled at usâŚas we were leaving an employee ran up and said we mis understood the owner bc she has an accentâŚtrust me, we understand someone being rude an any language. Seems to be the common reply in all your responsesâŚthe client misunderstands bc of the owners accent when in reality sheâs just rude!
You know for fact that my daughter didnât break any zippers nor mess up any dresses. You are not a kind person, you lie and you blame your poor customer service on your accent. I know the truth, the party of 5 that I was with know the truth.
What is most entertaining is how all of a sudden there are ton of positive reviews! Either the shop has a new awesome owner or perhaps the reviews are friends of the employees...
