Almas Hi-Fi Stereo — Local services in Royal Oak

Initially wanting to purchase just a set of front speakers, my shopping experience started with another shop I entered - had me listen to a pair of speakers and pressured me like a car salesman to buy. Paul at Almas explained that the speakers were overkill for the size of the room I was in - and the lessons/learning went on from there. Paul and Jim were both generous with their time and information and more than just pleased with the results. By the way, replaced my center and rear speakers and receiver as well. Much warmer sound than where I started out from. Couldn't be more pleased with the results. Purchased a TV antenna as well. Great antenna but inadequate installation. Paul I'm sorry . You used to be number one. Please invite me back when you get a new location and more choices of equipment I will adjust the review. This place will fix broken equipment and can order you any brand they sell. Problem is money situation effects us buyers . I think it's effects what people carry in stock . I was looking for something it would make no sense for Alma's to carry in stock just to costly to gamble if nobody bought it. This store is much better then any store in the area for hifi you can get a nice set up without breaking the bank. I like the equipment that most people have to sell there car to own . First I want to see them in stock and hear them before I hand out 10or 15k for a set...

Called numerous so called hi-fi shops around town in search of a cable adapter for my new amp with no luck. Most didn't even know what I ws looking for or care.
