Zo's Good Burger Royal Oak — Restaurant in Royal Oak

I kept seeing Zo’s Good Burger pop up on Google Maps, so I checked out the menu and thought their burger options looked great. I mentioned it to my buddy, and he told me I’d love the place and should definitely check it out.

I decided to go with the BBQ Burger, a side of onion rings, and a fountain drink. Everything is made to order, and I didn’t have to wait too long for my food. The guy taking orders was awesome—super friendly, engaging, and helpful. He even suggested I try their special sauce for my onion rings, and I’m so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious!

The burger itself was fantastic—juicy and flavorful, with a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and turkey bacon that added the perfect touch. I also really appreciated that they came back later to check if everything was good.

The only (minor) downside was that I was sitting near the door on a super cold day, and with all the foot traffic, I kept getting hit with a brisk chill. Definitely not their fault, but next time, I’ll pick a different seat!

The vibe of the building is really cool. Welcoming. The staff is all about customer service. From the moment I walked in the door, I was taken care of. I was greeted by two employees and immediately given a menu. I asked the young man (Mo I think was his name) what he recommended and he suggested build a burger. Good choice!

I had a classic burger with Cajun fries and a Mt.Dew. The fries were crispy and hot, seasoned to perfection. The burger was hand patted and very tasty. They told me the only use fresh not frozen beef and all ingredients are locally sourced.

If I had a compliant at all it would be the door to the restroom. Like many places, it was really heavy and difficult to open. You see, I'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. It was difficult getting in and out of the restroom. But wait...

Here comes the staff. They pushed me to my table, offered to move the table in order to make things easier for me, helped me out of the door and into the Uber when I left. I really felt special. Hell, even if the food sucked I'd go back for...

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Zo’s Goodburger in Royal Oak, and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. I tried the Pimento Cheese & Bacon Jam Burger, the Food Truck Chicken Sandwich, and their Build-Your-Own Fries. Every bite was a flavor explosion! The food was cooked to absolute perfection, and the balance of flavors was nothing short of immaculate.

The interior design was sleek, modern, and inviting definitely a big step above your typical burger joint. The atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the owners and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. Our food came out quickly without any compromise on quality.
