Island Noodles of New Mexico — Restaurant in Ruidoso

I have been wanting to try island of noodles for a while now, but just never got downtown to place an order and this being a spring break weekend I ordered through DoorDash. DoorDash was great. It was also a first time using them, just information for anyone who hasn’t used them before. As far as island of noodles, I got the option with the teriyaki chicken and let me tell you this was so good. I just cannot tell you how amazing the food was.. The noodles, the vegetables, the chicken was fantastic. I have read a couple of reviews that were not so favorable and I’m just going to say in my opinion those people are just way too picky! This is one of the most flavorful delicious meals I have had in a long time and I will be ordering soon again. I actually placed two orders because one online reviewer said the portion was too small, well it’s not it’s actually huge so I will have another meal for tomorrow!! Visiting my mom and wanted to try something yummy. Google "best places to eat near me" and this was at the top of the list. I completely understand why! DELICIOUS!!! With only 2 items on the menu, it still rated high, so I had high hopes. It didn't disappoint! I got it with chicken and holy goodness! It was expecting side, for what it was, but worth it for sure! Also, it fed me for 2 meals (I'm not the biggest eater). The service was great! We had their "teriyaki noodles" at the deming duck races this weekend and we were very disappointed. For $17 a cup there was maybe 2-3 oz of chicken and basically no noodles. It looked really good when other people walking by were eating it and clearly saw them eating nice long noodles like you would expect from this type of dish and the cup I received didn't have 1/4 cup if noodles they were all 1-2 inches or less in length.
