Griff's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Ruston

Since I eat, gluten free, I asked for a number two combo single hamburger without a bun. The old man who took my order, was most gracious, and made sure that the order was correct before he sent it in. I ate some of my bunless burger and most of the fries while visiting with some old friends. Griffs is plain when it comes to atmosphere. It is just a hamburger joint with ample tables. Their only eating utensil was a small plastic Spork, but that was sufficient for me. The dining room was clean and I found it easy to get in and out of the parking lot. When I got ready to leave, I ordered a number one burger combo for my wife. They were just unloading some fresh cooked fries, so I got an extra fry to bring home for me. The fries are worth stopping by Griff’s. My wife said that her burger was very good. Their sweet tea was also very good.

I have not eaten at Griff’s in nearly 40 years I’ll be stopping by again...

I LOVE this place. The burgers are so delicious, and everyone who works there is so friendly. The prices are very affordable. Even the fries are really good. If you like a tasty burger, and you're in Ruston, then I can't recommend eating at Griff's enough! They are a must any time I am in Ruston.

Let everyone who works there know how much they are appreciated. McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, and nearly every other fast food restaurant...they're just buildings churning out the same, bland food, with it being a toss up as to whether or not the people employed there rightfully hate their jobs. You don't get this with Griff's, so obviously the management is doing something wonderful. And that alone makes this place worthy of a five star rating. The people who work behind the counter are the most important people in the building, and they deserve all of...

I've been here three times. The first time, the burger was phenomenal. One of, if not THE best I have ever had. My favorite part was that the buns were toasted to perfection, and the patties were very flavorful. Unfortunately, the last two times I've visited, the buns are barely toasted, and the patties taste a little more bland. It's still better than most burger places, don't get me wrong, especially for the price. I got the big cheeseburger combo with a sweet tea and a small shake for $13.58 after tax. I'm just a little dissapointed in the food from the last two times I have gone. Also, the last time I went, the floors were dirty, and there were a couple flies in the window. They seemed really busy, so I kind of understand. I felt bad for the girl up front. I almost gave three stars, but decided to be nice. I'll update this review...
