First off, they force a 20% tip on you, which would be fine if the service was exceptional. It was not, so this is not cool.
The ordering is done through your phone using online ordering. Think what every restaurant wanted to do during Covid. This was both clunky and poorly designed (they wanted all of my information, like I'm not sure why they need my phone number, except only to sell the info).
The drinks came out within 5 minutes of ordering, and they had great ice (same ice Chick-fil-A uses), but the drinks were either watered down or they were low on syrup. Getting refills on said drinks was also a hassle.
The food took over 40 minutes to come out (mind you, it is sushi) and the results were not great to say the least my group had 9 different rolls only 1 of which I would say was worth the premium price ($15 + $3, remember that forced 20%), the others were just okay, but 1 roll (Dragon Roll), was absolutely disgusting I would argue the worst sushi roll I have ever had (this was disappointing because eel is my favorite sushi topping, and it was the cause).
I usually give places 2 attempts to make sure it wasn't just an off day, but I don't think this place will...
Read moreOur experience from begining to end was amazing. The service was great and the food was artistically made and fresh, it's like they made creativity something you can taste. The atmosphere was intimate and our server Andrew was so attentive. My husband and I'm we're taken on a journey of flavors. The establishment is definitely for experienced sushi eaters and those wanting to learn about how to sushi in a way that is enjoyable. They have something for everyone. The menu options are fish forward, balanced and while traditional in some ways very modern and innovative. The simplistic zen environment allowed for the chefs and servers to tend to the needs of the guest. The Chef and owner were so personable and accommodating. I enjoyed that there weren't any menu options over saturated with mayo and sauces and the assortment of rolls is diverse. They do not sacrifice quality when it comes to there fish.
The to go menu is extensive and delicious as well for those that may not have the time to dine in.
10/10 would...
Read moreI truly love Raw. I've had all types of sushi in the PNW and Raw is fine quality sushi dining. But could you guys open back up for happy hour/ lunch hours and do like half off sushi rolls? This other place recently opened up and they have a lunch special going for rolls, but their quality isn't great.
If Raw opened back up for lunch hours, I definitely can see more people arriving. I prefer to spend my money on quality and I know others do too...
