30 Burgers (which I just found out is a chain) recently opened (Dec 2020) and while there are some kinks, I think they have potential. Perhaps the staff just needs a bit more training. What some of the reviews mention about them not getting the order right is unfortunately true. I placed an order via GrubHub for pick-up, with specific add-ons, and almost none of them were added on. This is what we ordered:
Lamb Gyro Kati Roll - added an egg, which was the only item that they got right. The gyro was actually pretty good, and they gave a good amount of it
Crispy Chicken Burger - added American cheese, which I didn't get even though it was written on the receipt they printed. Most of the sandwich was pretty good but as I got towards the end of it, I noticed that most of the breading had slid off. The sandwich wasn't piping hot because I'm pretty sure they just took it to the back and stuck a slice of cheese in it to correct the order (which probably could have also been the reason why the breading was sliding off, since it was getting cold). Overall, it wasn't bad but I think the Wendy's or Popeye's crispy chicken sammie is much better and it's slightly cheaper
El Paso Burger (roasted poblano peppers, sauteed onions, bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, lettuce, and chipotle mayo on a maui onion bun) - we ordered an extra patty on here, which we paid for but wasn't listed on the receipt. It seemed like they didn't really believe me (like I was trying to weasel a $2 patty out of them or something) so I literally had to go into my GrubHub app and prove that I paid $10 something for the burger instead of the standard $7.99. Other than that, the burger was actually really good - albeit messy. Same situation here - the burger was just warm because instead of making a brand new one, I think they just stuck an extra patty in there
We ordered two sides of fries as an add-on to the sandwich because we thought they would be tiny side portions. However, they were actually full size orders of fries, so we were only able to finish one. The fries come with some kind of thousand-islandish/mac sauce-esque dipping sauce, which I really appreciated. I love a good fry sauce.
Yes, it's greasy but it's burgers and fries. If you're coming to 30 Burgers, you're coming for the guilt/food coma-inducing grease. I would come back but probably wait a bit until after they're settled. And maybe next time, I'll just order in store.
Tip - there are a few tables outside next to the shop. No one was there at the time, and it was a warm January day, so it made for some great outdoor dining. Definitely consider this option if you don’t want to do indoor, because I don’t think the sandwiches will hold up for long with all...
Read moreI recently ordered from 30 Burgers in Rutherford, NJ, and had a disappointing experience that reflects poorly on their customer service.
On January 9, 2025, at 5:31 PM, I ordered a kids’ cheeseburger meal through Uber Eats, which was supposed to include a can of soda. Unfortunately, the soda was missing from the delivery. When I called the restaurant, they confirmed the soda was supposed to be included and claimed that the Uber driver was responsible for picking it up from the fridge. This explanation didn’t make much sense since Uber drivers typically pick up pre-packaged orders, not assemble them. Regardless, they offered no real solution other than asking me to come to the store and pick up the missing soda myself—which completely defeats the purpose of using a delivery service.
Fast forward to January 18, 2025, at 2:46 PM, I called the restaurant again while placing a new order to politely ask if they could include the soda they forgot last time. I first spoke to one employee, who transferred me to another person. This second person asked whether I had been promised a replacement soda when I called the first time, giving me unnecessary runaround for something as simple as a can of soda that I had already paid for.
At that point, I told them not to bother and hung up. This experience left a very sour taste. It’s not about the soda; it’s about the lack of accountability and basic customer service. If something goes wrong with an order, the least a restaurant can do is offer a simple and convenient resolution instead of creating friction.
Congratulations to whoever was handling the phone at 2:46 PM on January 18, 2025—you’ve earned a one-star review for making such a simple issue so unnecessarily...
Read more30 Burgers is hands down the best burger joint I've ever visited! From the moment you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The menu is incredibly diverse, offering a wide array of burger options that cater to all tastes and preferences.
I tried the classic cheeseburger, and it was nothing short of perfection. The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, the cheese melted just right, and the fresh toppings added the perfect crunch. The buns were soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the deliciousness without falling apart.
The sides are equally impressive. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, and the onion rings were a delightful treat. I also appreciated the variety of sauces available to complement the meal.
What truly sets 30 Burgers apart is their commitment to quality and consistency. Every bite was as satisfying as the last, and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, offering great value for money.
Whether you're a burger enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, 30 Burgers is the place to go. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their amazing creations. Five stars...
