Da Mario Pizzeria — Restaurant in Rutherford

I went to this place after a long day of work to get dinner around 7:25 pm today Monday. I ordered at the cashier the lady seem to be in a rush and she forgot I paid upfront in cash to make it easier and not make people wait. When I got the food she misplaced my mozzarella sticks on another table and I had to let her know that’s my plate along with a slice of eggplant pizza which had women’s hair but I didn’t want to complain (I was trying to be nice because the lady was busy ). Besides that, she didn’t gave me a cup or straw for my drink she just gave me a can. And other costumers had cups cause I made sure and looked around. After I ate the mozzarella sticks and finished my food. I went outside to wait for my Uber (because I live in New York I only went to Rutherford for work). This lady came OUTSIDE chased me with the bill cart saying MA’AM ! You OWE A BILL. Everybody inside looked through the window (today being Halloween there was plenty of people there. I looked at her and said I already paid you before I got my food. In cash. She said “you did, ok no problem. ) she hesitated a little as if I was lying. And didn’t even apologized. this was a really bad experience for me I felt so bad and left. will never recommend or even come back to that place...

OMG!! I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was disgusting!! It tasted as if a can of tomato sauce was just poured onto spaghetti noodles and heated up, no taste at all. The meatballs were definitely not real beef and they were tasteless. I assumed for the price of a dinner spaghetti I would at least get onions, peppers, mushrooms and real beef. I haven't received bad service from them but I know that they serve the food well and it is delicious. I order the chicken saltimboca (I think that's how its spelled lol) many times, its my favorite dish! Nice spaghetti with spinach and cooked chicken.
