I wish I could put 0 stars. Highly disgusted after my visit today! The new owner obviously shouldn’t be an owner at all with the actions she displayed today. The fact that I will have to post on all social media about my horrible experience there because of her is both insane and exhausting. She was very rude and obviously wasn’t raised to know how to respect others especially customers. The way she talked to me was not appropriate and her overall energy was nasty. Her behavior over me eating 2 mini tacos in there was both outrageous and concerning. My friends I was sitting with already bought food and drinks from there so it’s not like we just came to use the place as a chill spot to eat other food. Especially, when her son literally 2 seconds prior to her coming over told me politely future reference they don’t allow outside food. I said okay no problem and then here she comes being rude. I would have ordered food from there had they had fresh food and a bigger menu. Nothing here is made fresh. The chicken salad comes pre packaged so I couldn’t order actual food from there. I didn’t even get the chance to order me a cookie that I inquired about after I was done. All because of how nasty and rude the new owner was being. Why should I spend my money there after that. She even tried to use the A/C against us which was weird. Prior to her rudely walking over to ruin the time there we told the son that it was chilly and if he could turn up the A/C a bit. He turned the A/C up which was nice and accommodating of him. However, his mother the new owner went over to the A/C after her ordeal and tried to make it colder to affect me. The coffee shop isn’t even aesthetically pleasing for me to had even seen any sign that might’ve mentioned that. Her behavior is very concerning and honestly she showed she shouldn’t be an owner of a business at all. I don’t recommend this...
Read moreTheir coffee tastes great mainly coz they brew the Paper Plane roaster's beans. But never seen a coffee shop here in NJ/NY area who charges their customers for taking tiny bit of half & half creamer with their drip coffee. Yes you heard it right, they charge 75 cents for that tiny oz of cream and wouldn't even inform you they charged you unless you notice while paying. Come on, the whole pack of half n half comes for roughly $3 in Costco and you charge 75 cents for nothing? It is like you charging for regular milk when a customer asks for a latte. It is understandable if you charge extra for alternate milks like Almond/Soy/Oat, but charging extra for milk or cream is never heard of.
Update: It was brought to the attention of barista about why they were charging extra for half & half while I was buying my coffee and the response was that they have started charging extra for half & half. So it basically wasn't any system error or mistake, it was...
Read moreI have a deep passion for coffee, and this place is truly a haven for coffee lovers like me. Not only do they serve incredibly delicious coffee, but their pan de bono and ham/cheese croissant always a delightful treat that satisfies my cravings perfectly. The variety of pastries they offer is impressive, and I've heard that they are planning to introduce even more delectable food options in the future. One of the things I appreciate the most about this place is the availability of free wifi, which allows me to comfortably work here. The service is exceptional, and both the new owner and her son are incredibly kind and welcoming, the place is always clean and the atmosphere is quiet. In the past, I used to frequent Starbucks for work and coffee, but now I prefer to support local businesses, and this place has quickly become one of my favorite spots to unwind and...
