I finally visited a Buffalo Wild Wings. My girlfriend took me there for my birthday. I like wings. I've had wings from many places. I've made my own. Had them made for me. A place that has "Wings" in its restaurant name must have some damn good wings. It did. That being said, the appetizers we ordered, the street tacos (a whopping 3), which cost I believe, $6 were tiny. Smaller than authentic, street tacos you'd buy from a taco truck. The main food, the wings, were amazing. That's not the meat of this review, though.
The waitress, Jesyka, was not attentive by any stretch of the imagination (maybe I've just been spoiled with bubbly, fun servers): never refilled our drinks. We only had 1 drink of water between the 2 of us. Trying to gain her attention let alone keep her attention was exhausting. It took what seemed forever, for our 2 alcoholic beverages we ordered, to reach our table. We ordered them at the same time, and they came probably 10 minutes after one another. I know it's a busy restaurant, at least it was this night, being that the place looked understaffed, and hectic, due to the surge of patrons there to enjoy the football game, streamed to the dozens of TV's laid out throughout the establishment. A simple smile, however, and a welcoming vibe from your server(s) can alter your experience to the positive side of things a lot, though. Even if they are understaffed, and as a result, the food reaching your table requires extra time. That can't be helped.
I'm by no means a social butterfly. I don't need to sit there with the server, having a 10 minute discussion about our lives. This waitress behaved like she was having a bad day, and didn't enjoy working there. Which, I can understand, kinda, but "leave it at the door." It's an overused expression for a reason. Working with the public is shuffling around in a labyrinth of a bunch of insipid, drooling monkeys, but at least pretend you care, on the off chance, you are being judged on your servership (is that even a word? I made it up , but you get the point). The dessert, the cheesecake bites, priced at also $6 IIRC, were more or less balls of fried breading, covered in mashed up graham crackers.. Barely tasted any sweetness. What was inside, did not resemble the taste or texture or appearance of cheesecake.
I'd go back, if i lived closer, and probably just order wings, and then go home and eat them. I'm not going to judge an establishment based off 1 bad experience with a server; I'm simply divulging my experience this 1 particular night. There you have it. Go to B-Dubs for the Wings, and for football if you enjoy it. I wouldn't mess with the rest, as you can probably get items on the rest of their menu elsewhere, for cheaper, in properly sized portions and for less of a hit to your wallet.
In a perfect world, I would be able to rate different facets and aspects of the restaurant I find crucial and important, using the star system afforded me here .

Read moreRidiculous experience here, not sure if it is the new managers or cooks. Pretty lengthy review, be warned. Long story short, my order was DRENCHED and my wings were practically floating on top of the sauce, manager was "mansplaining" to me that customers like it that way, and then I had to drive to the location to get a refund which could have been done on the phone.
Ordered wings, extra crispy & extra wet. Usually when they are extra crispy they are a little dry, never had ANY issues ordering this way. Got my order, drove all the way home to find my wings were DRENCHED in sauce. I tried to eat one or two but it was so salty I couldn't.
Called the location and talked to Joseph or "Joey" as he introduces himself on the phone. I explained my concerns he did say once "sorry bout that" but when I said I wanted them extra crispy he told me "yeah customers like it saucy, and usually it can be x3 x4 times extra wet". I was shocked truly. Then I told him that I always ordered this way and never had issues and he again was trying to tell me that that's how they come. I told him that I "COULD" come drop off the wings if I needed to but I did not want a remake (which he did offer) but a refund.
I drove all the way down there and I forgot my card because I was so upset, and when I got there he couldn't issue me a refund because I needed the expiration date. WHAT A JOKE, but then he said he can give me a refund over the phone. He had me come down because "oh, you said you were already coming and I wanted to see the wings". I DID NOT SAY I was coming , I said I could come.
Then when he saw the wings, he admitted it was way to much sauce. I asked when a customer requests "extra wet" is there so recipe for how much extra there is ie: 1oz, 2oz, etc. He told me no, I asked if it was just up to the cook on how much sauce extra to put and he said yes.
I also asked for these customers who like their wings so saucy, dont they indicate that on the order? and he said yes, so I told him if I never ordered then "really" or "two times wet" why was it so dam saucy?
A big thing people miss too these days is to be aware of their tone when they speak and their identity. It felt like because I was a women he was trying to find every reason as to why my order was the way it was. Also his tone was not really empathetic and instead of just taking accountability and being understanding again he tried to tell me that's how customers like it.
Please tell me, would...
Read moreAwful experience here. There was about 5 other groups of people here so NOT busy at all. Walked in and stood by the door bunch of workers walked past us as if we weren’t standing there I had to stop one of them asking where we can sit since they had half the place closed by 11? When they close at 1. She told us to sit in the bar area so we did. Didn’t give us any menus so we had to look up the menu online. Didn’t take our drink and food order till 20 minutes later. We were also waiting on 3 other people but I had their food order so I was ready and told her I was. We waited till 12:05 till our food got there an entire hour of being there. When our other 3 people arrived I asked if they could get some waters and she went to clean another table and then take someone’s order and proceeded to be gone for a long time so I went to the bar to get waters I saw her look at me while I was getting them then we finished eating and she brought us waters???? The whole time she was so rude didn’t care about anyone in there at all. By the time we were leaving there was more groups of people there and she was being rude to them too. The food was pretty average nothing good. Went to the bathroom and considering I watched the lady with the bathroom trash walk right behind our table while I was eating WITH THE BATHROOM TRASH. The bathroom was still dirty. Also it’s rated 2 and a half stars on Yelp This overall experience was awful. Do not recommend. -rude staff -dirty...
