Michaelās store #5146 has such an AWESOMESAUCE manager by the name of š¤©Juana šāļøHereās why š. I called the store on 9/30/23. Explained to Juana that I bought a sewing machine (Singer 6700C Heavy Duty) on 9/18/23 from another Michaelās store. After bringing it home, unboxing my machine, ATEMPTING to follow the photo manual just to PUT IT TOGETHER šµāš«, watching YouTube video š, after video š, after video š, after video š¬, after video š”. AND even going to the Singer website and selecting my model machine to download the 44 page PDF manual. I was STILL unable to simply thread š§µ šŖ” my machine INCLUDING the bobbin section š. Manager Juana began telling me that she has two sewing machines at home, that if I didnāt mind her touching it. She wouldnāt mind showing me how to thread my machine. I THANKFULLY said yes please! She then asked me what model I had so she could take a look and familiarize herself with it before I arrived. Then proceeded to give me her availability! I told her all I needed to do was put my hair in a ponytail and Iāll be on my way š! She said great asked for my name, and instructed me to ask for her once I arrive. After I arrived I asked for her. She then proceeded to show me with great patience how to thread my machine AND the bobbin. I left the store ever so grateful š„¹š„°š...

My mother had actually just used the restroom a minute prior, and she shared I would need to ask the employees for assistance. At the arts and crafts near the restrooms, there was 1 younger employee and another employee, an older female, who was incredibly rude. She aggressively told me ābathrooms are unavailable.ā I explained I was surprised to hear that due to my mom using it literally a minute ago. She questioned how my mom got in the restroom, and I explained she had asked one of them for support. She swore that she didnāt let anybody in and insinuated I was lying. I again explained she had gone in a minute ago. She exclaimed āWELL RESTROOMS ARE CLOSED!ā With one hour before closing, I was very confused as to why restrooms were not accessible and why there already were announcements on the speaker of the store closing. Iāve never had a bad experience at Michaelās, and it saddens me to know youāre hiring people who are absolutely unapproachable and simply just mean. If I could give zero stars, I would. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service at this store. I came in to pick up a UPS package, and the associates told me they couldnāt find it. They asked me to call back the next day, which I did, only to hear the same excuseāthey still couldnāt locate the package. They then told me to contact UPS directly.
After speaking with UPS, I learned that the package had, in fact, been signed for by one of their employees. I called the store back to speak with a manager and provided the name of the employee who signed for the package. The manager was able to locate it.
This entire process was incredibly frustrating, and to make matters worse, I live 45 minutes away from the store. To avoid another long trip, I asked my sister to pick up the package on my behalf. The store had previously told me that someone with my same last name could collect the package. However, when my sister arrived, Keisha, Michaelās store manager, questioned whether she was authorized to pick it up and proceeded to be rude.
This level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and poor customer service is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this store and will caution others about doing...
