TOMO Tea House — Restaurant in Sacramento

Horrible costumer service. I come here all the time because we love the passion fruit sugar cane drink and mochi donuts. I wanted to order drinks for my work team to appreciate their hard work. I tired to call to place orders over the phone but the phone just kept on ringing and ringing so I went in. When I got there, the credit card reader was down and they couldn’t do tap so I was instructed to go to the kiosk to put in order for 8 drinks. I informed them I had 8 drinks and different customization the kiosk can’t do so they instructed me to tell them what I wanted change after placing the orders. The kiosk had a horrible glare making it impossible to look for the 8 drinks. The sugar cane drinks did not load and the search option yield nothing. At that time I was about to gave up so I asked if they still carry the sugar cane drinks once the associate said they do but it may take up to 5 minutes to load!! I couldn’t find mango sago and asked the associate again. She finally offered to put in my order and punched in my credit card info. This whole time, there were three associates and no costumers. What a disappointing costumer service!!! It literally took me 10 minutes to place orders for 8 drinks that they could have done in 1 minutes!! Tomo just lost a costumer who...

The location looks picture worthy just a bit unkept considering no one was staying to dine. I wanted to pay in cash so had to ask to be rung up the old fashioned way and was told they don’t usually take cash so they do not keep change available so I had to give them correct change or I wouldn’t receive any back. Upon trying to order staff wasn’t exactly friendly or helpful due to my first time here I wasn’t sure of the name of the drink i was looking for but explained it was matcha and she didn’t give a single suggestion and the menu is a lot so a bit of help would of been nice considering I said it was my first time there. I was then asked about sweetness level? Not sure what that really even means and wasn’t given much help with that either. Needless to say I think my experience could have been better but thankfully I’m not in this area often so keeping it real they need to be accessible for all forms of payment, clean when the store isn’t busy and helpful for new customers that may not be aware of your menu that’s has...

This place can be called a beautiful location. There are areas where you can take a couple of beautiful photos!

The pies are normal, ordinary! I wouldn't take them every day! I also didn't like how they were served to us in a bag, the top sweet part was all stuck to the bag! It's better to serve these buns on a plate. The buns are hand-made inside and only with different flavors spread on top!
