It's a shame but I originally tried this restaurant in North Carolina before it came to the West Coast. It was fabulous! But there is a difference in service at this particular location than from the ones in Elk Grove, Folsom, Arden and Roseville. I learned in Roseville based on a recommendation from my endodontist to get a milkshake from here in order to make the numbing go away faster from dental procedures. It worked! So when I went to the In-N-Out burger I explained to person taking my order what my endodontist said. The young woman was really helpful and she said we'll make you a shake without the shake bake mix in it so it's more like an ice cream shake and they would use a little milk to thin out so you could at least get it through the straw. The thickness of the shake & sucking motion with the straw helps the numbness go away faster. It worked within 30 to 45 minutes my face was no longer numb. I went to another In-N-Out for a different medical procedure that was in Folsom asked for the same thing no problem. Went to Arden & Elk Grove asked for the same thing same thing no problem. I also went to Delta Shore when it first opened and had no problem until the night team supervisor from Hell was working. I got a song and dance from her "that corporate changed the rules doesn't allow them to do this". I asked the employee when did this change because I was just here 2 days ago and there wasn't a problem. The employee could not tell me when the rules changed but alleged "she got some kind of email". I told her I've been doing this for years. I also told her I didn't mind paying extra for it if there was some kind of additional cost. Because of her less than customer service oriented stick in the mud personality, I told her just cancel the entire order. All of a sudden she says "oh we'll do it for you this time". I contacted the corporate office directly about the story I was told and got no response! Another friend of mine decided to go to Delta shore Chick-fil-A and try the same thing because she's been doing this for years too. She had absolutely no problem. Her response was "I guess because they looked at me like Karen they have no problem doing what I asked". I went to another Chick-fil-A and I asked the same question about the corporate change I spoke directly to the manager of the location Folsom and he said I have never heard of that. He said it "would be like if a person was allergic to something in one of our foods we would take it out it's not a big deal You're paying for it". Because of this negative experience & exceptionally poor customer service at this location my family and friends have boycotted Delta shore Chick-fil-A! I recommend going to any other Chick-fil-A...
Read moreMe and couple of my classmates came here 1/18/2024 at around 7:50 pm one girl in our car had an online order she told the girl that was taking our order I told the lady we have separate orders she said ok so I began ordering I also asked if another worker can come and take my other friend order because he was just standing there she said she can’t do that I said ok that’s fine we proceeded with our orders I asked her the total and she said like 55 or 57 I said how is that possible I ask if she can split up the meal she said I can’t but they will be able to fix it at the window so we began to pull forward halfway to the window another lady that I guess take all the payments read back out order and I told her that we wanted our order separated she then printed out the receipt we were Al confused because we didn’t pay just yet except the one girl that did her online order so I was confused so the girl that did her online order they added me and my friends order to her I’m like what is goin on so she said pull forward they will help you at the window it’s was too much goin on the First Lady that helped us was not listening at all which cause the delay in the first place so we get to window it’s 8 something at this point the girl said she can fix our order like refund then re ring us up we said ok then she said can I have you guys park we said we can’t because we were on a lunch break from our school and if we would have park it would of took longer so then the manager he said his name was kory he said I can refund you but I need you to park I need to move these cars I’m like that’s not right your mad at us like we are the issue when it started with your employee in the beginning by not listening to us he said I need you to park I’m like sir can we please get our food we are goin to be late for school he then said I’m goin to refund you guys and refuse service we were like what all in shock we love this chick fil a that manager treated me and my friend like we were the issue I worked in fast food and how he dealt with the situation was very wrong he didn’t care what we were saying at all he was so focused on the line instead of pleasing us we didn’t get our food and was late to our class all because the girl didn’t listen so wrong man I will give corporate a call because this whole situation was not right at all that...
Read moreI ordered on the app at 9:42pm, and arrived at 9:52. One of the workers outside told his manager to help me. She ran past him & placed the drive thru cones up (they closed at 10pm) She went back inside and did not stop to even listen to him. It's now 10:05 & all the drive-thru workers are heading inside, I asked one to check on my online order. He returns to tell me half of the items I ordered they're now out of. The manager comes & says she will give me a replacement order another day for free next time, and I left with NO food! The whole situation was very inconvenient. I returned a few days later for the replacement order. I let the drive-thru worker know & she got on her mic to let them know inside. I passed by the 2nd drive-thru worker, and she says they'll help me at the window. At the window, I had to give the whole scenario to that manager in order to get my replacement order. Overall, I could appreciate the one worker who stopped to help me, but the management here needs to take a moment to actually listen to the employees, and once the replacement order was put in for.
