Cilantro's Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sacramento

I decided to go order from this restaurant because I seen good reviews & I was craving carne asada fries & noticed they had that on there menu so I went to this location placed my order I prefer to eat chicken rather than beef but they didn’t have that meat of choice available so I still ordered but had to go with beef ! Mind you I’m pregnant so I was really craving this at the time so I placed my order and when I got my order I was very very disappointed in my order I literally spent 12$ on a small plate with only jalapeños Nd sour cream to come on top of the meat,cheese & fries? To my understanding carne asada fries commonly come fully loaded with guacamole,pico de Gallo,sour cream your choice of meat,cheese & fries ! I will not be going back to this restaurant it was just a disappointing experience for me! And such a waste...

FINALLY FOUND MY SPOT FOR THE PERFECT BREAKFAST BURRITO. I ASKED THE GENTLEMEN JOSE AT THE REGISTER IF HE COULD REPLACE THE STEAK FOR BACON AND MAKE THE FRIES ON THE CALIFORNIA BURRITO EXTRA CRISPY CAUSE I USUALLY PREFER ACTUAL PAPAS OVER FRIES AND NO PICO. I'LL TELL YOU, WITH SOME VERDE SALSA ON THE SIDE THIS BURRITO SHOULD DEFINITELY BE PUT ON THEIR MAIN MENU. BECAUSE I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANY OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT ABLE TO MAKE IT ANY WHERE CLOSE TO HOW GOOD THIS WAS HERE. I DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS LOCATION FOR PROBABLY THE BEST BURRITO I'VE EVER HAD. AND THAT'S SAYING A LOT. THANK YOU CILANTRO'S I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK. Cilantro is a small place, but they have big flavor. Between us we had nearly half of the menu on our table. Lots of sharing happened so we all got a pretty good idea of what's what. All the food was good, well portioned, and reasonably priced. Two little quibbles: they charge for chips and salsa (which should be no less than a misdemeanor in my opinion) and the salsas are not labeled. As a salsa wimp, I want to be told what to expect. I don't want to have to try them all to see which I can or cannot have. Spoiler alert: for me rhe answer was none. I tried them all and found the first to be uncomfortably spicy, and the rest to be even more so. All and all it was a good meal...
