Every visit here is like being greeted by your long-lost foodie family—friendly smiles, quick wit, and that “we got you” energy that makes you feel instantly welcome.

Josh runs the counter like a pro, remembering orders and tossing in little touches that make your day better (and your sandwich taste even better). The whole team works like a well-oiled sandwich-making machine—cheerful, fast, and clearly having a blast.

And the sandwiches? Absolute legends. Every bite is an explosion of flavor, wrapped in that trademark Ike’s bread that could probably solve world peace if we gave it a chance.

Bottom line: If you’re anywhere near Arden and you don’t stop by Ike’s for a Josh-approved masterpiece, you’re missing out on the best part...

Great food complemented with great service! You’ve got to try this place. Among all the sandwich shops in Sacramento, Ike’s Sandwiches on Arden should definitely be on your list.

I’m a picky vegan and went with the “Go Kings” sandwich, paired with a bag of salt & vinegar potato chips. The sandwich was hefty and satisfying—definitely worth the price. The Store Manager, Josh, took the time to ask if I wanted any additional vegetables, which I really appreciated. It arrived fresh, perfectly wrapped, and packed with flavor.

Even during slower moments, Josh was sweeping the floor and making sure the shop stayed clean, while his team kept everything tidy and welcoming. A true example of great food and great service...

The food is good. The value is abysmal. I think most people would agree that 45$ for two sandwiches, chips and drinks, is ridiculous. If I wanted to spend that much, I'd go out to a sit down place. These prices are disrespectful to what the humble sandwich is supposed to be. Then they have the nerve to request a tip at the register for a to-go order. Give me a break.

They're going for that overly friendly thing that's popular with corporate spots like Starbucks. Not my cup of tea, but I guess it works for...
