Last Stop Saloon — Restaurant in Sacramento

They need Bar Rescue. To show some manners. And make better drinks. I always come to this bar to play a game of pool 🎱 and order some fries and a drink🍸 I remember when it was called River City Salon I always felt welcome 🙏🏼now it's called last stop salon and the last 2 times I came in here I didn't feel welcome at all. This definiety will be my last stop The first time since the owners changed I came with a group of 5 and we ordered shots. The bartender didn't ID any of us and after we all took our shots he came over to our table fast and asked all of us to ID and he was rude. Today I came in with a party of 1 and we sat down and looked at the menu and watched the game for a second and the bartender guy comes up to me and says are you ordering something? If not you have to leave. So disrespectful. Last time he had a big smile on his face and seemed nice but this time it was different. Idk if he was having a bad day or what but I expected someone to come to our table and greet us and ask what we would like to order? Not are u gonna order if not you have to go have a great day. This place is a gem, and its highlight is a gentleman by the name of Mike. He's the bartender on Mondays through Thursdays - and he's cool AF. We swung by late Wednesday night for a few drinks and he took great care of us! He made some great drinks - loved the pineapple Mexican mule - and we vibed with him as soon as we stepped in.

We originally only planned to stop by to check things out, but largely because of Mike we're planning on stopping by tomorrow night too - which is great for Aftershockers cuz they don't close until 2 am!

Highly recommended to check this place out and come by on a night Mike works. Their food menu looks bomb too, but we won't get a chance to try it out as their kitchen closes at 10pm. This place is simply greatttttttt. Still has that historic vibe, with an updated feel. Not divey, and not over done. Just right for Old Sac!

Come for the margaritas, or the root beer floats (they have adult versions too, but you’d never be able to tell they’re like 6% ABV!)… soo good.

Wings, cauliflower tacos, elote spring rolls, all were super solid bites! Menu isn’t super big, but they seem to do it all right. Veggie friendly too, which is always a plus! Even just the curly fries, piping hot with a grip of dipping sauces to choose from.

I’ll def be bag for the grub, and arcade too. Skee-ball’s my favvvvv, and the pinball machines are clutch. Just a good vibe all around, def worth...
