I bought this ticket reservation for my husband. When he tried to exit, the bar code was read but the arm did not lift. He pressed the help button and they told him to go to exit at level 1. At level one, they said he could not exit because the ticket shows the vehicle has already exited. They accused him of sneaking in by following another car in, and obtaining a bar code of someone else. With graduation traffic backed up behind him, the attendant said he could pay the full day price of $25.00 with no receipt or sign a parking ticket to which he would have to pay full day and fine. He took the parking ticket so he could fight it later. When he called customer service after he was released from being held in the parking garage by extortion, he was told he has to pay within 48 hours then fight for reimbursement later. He had a horrible, horrible experience, therefore so did I. Complete and utter...
Read moreThis garage is not well maintained! Parking attendants are intermittently available during peak afternoon hours. Exiting the garage can take awhile if paying at the kiosk. You can use the ParkWhiz app to pay a discounted price - especially discounted for Amtrak commuters, but sometimes the barcode scanner doesn't work properly. It is lit in the early morning hours, but there isn't security or parking attendants on site until the late morning. My car was broken into and the security guard wasn't even aware of the incident and my car was parked near the entrance on the first level. It's a fine garage to use to attend nearby events, but just know getting in and out will take awhile and people from the street can access the garage easily. I do wish they would upgrade the garage, considering the location. I think they just installed...
Read moreTerrible experience. This is a terrible part of Sacramento--a complete, overpriced tourist trap that we will never do again because of this parking garage. We were not given a ticket and they charged us $20 extra to exit, even though it was their error. The guy who "helped" us was rude and unprofessional, and there were easily 9 other staff who were literally standing around doing nothing, while one other person was taking cash to let people in.
Seriously, this garage is a mess and it ruined our trip down to the museum. It's unfortunate because while we enjoyed the museum, I will not recommend anyone to go to this area of Sacramento, especially if they have to park in such poorly maintained, overpriced, and unprofessional lots. Not even worth the $30 we had to pay for their mistake. We will not...
