Drove 20 minutes to get there, then had to wait about 20 minutes for them to fry more chicken. While waiting in line, I saw a roach run towards the drink machines. I was so shocked to see it, I pulled out my phone and started recording. The pic posted below is a screen grab of it. When the food was ready, I went to the counter to get it. I looked on the wall to see what their score from the health department was, but it wasn’t posted (surprise). They have everything else posted on that wall, but not a food grade. I got home and couldn’t even bring myself to eat the food. I realized if there’s one roach, there’s plenty more where that came from. So that was $25 down the drain, right along with the roach. Do your health and your wallet a favor and just make something quick and healthy at home.

Love Popeyes chicken sandwich. And occasionally I receive some good coupons that make dining here less painful on the wallet. I always get takeout at this location. It's not the store or staff fault but I just don't feel safe. Too many patrons, that aren't patrons. Just sitting in the back. Unhoused or high. Also, some of the staff are impatient or borderline rude. Again, I take this with a grain of salt because they've probably already had their day ruined by rude, awful customers. Plus, the parking lot. There's active drug dealing occurring out in the parking lot and people using the Wells Fargo ATM have been robbed. I'm in and out as fast as possible.

Ok so this chicken sandwhich everyone is talking about. I had to see for my self. Two days ago sold out, yesterday, long line. Today I went in and about 20 people were waiting for their chicken sandwich. I waited 50 minutes for mine. Chunky, soft with a light crispy taste. Bread soft with very little mayo and one pickle chip. I did enjoy it and I would go back šŸ‘ ( I kinda missed having some lettuce and a slice of tomatoe) 😜 yum"

It was terrible! The Woman serving me was RUDE and Condescending. I opened my container with the Chicken in it and advised her that I did not request "Chicken Wings"? I was informed that they were 1 Leg and 1 Thigh? Then She went onto state a fabrication, that I had requested "SMALL PIECES"? Who does that? Go into a Fast food chicken place and ask for SMALL! Strike 2!..... Aside from the pieces being "Pandemic" size, They were OLD & dry. I know OLD. (I use to own several restaurants). I NEVER SOLD OLD FOOD! When you run out. You run out! But what further got to me was her attitude when she "Flunged" the Chicken into the garbage can. Then proceeded to pretend to give me a "fresh" batch. It was worse. OLDER, DRYER AND DARKER! I was in a hurry & hungry. I left. I paid over $13.00 for me to be underserved and disrespected. She should be FIRED and that restaurant should be watched by "Popeye's" Home Headquarters for Quality Control. In being fair. I visited another Popeye's for a comparisume. It was like "Night & Day". Although small, the Chicken was Fresh! Another thing. Popeye's should do something about the "alleged" Red Beans and Rice. It was more like "Red Bean juice" over Rice. $4.00? For bean juice in a...

Working in the neighborhood I've had lunch here a couple of times. I never had a problem. But I guess this isn't the best location at night's. I placed my order and wanted to confirm the promotion. I was ignored. Went to the window and the employee completely ignored me then read someone else's order which wasn't mine. I place my order and asked if I wanted spicy and I said yes. She snatch my card talked to someone else while another male employee came in and he gave me my card. She came back with my food and I asked for hot sauce she gave me a hand so full some fell on the ground. I gave her some back not realizing I'll need it because when I took a bite of Mt undercooked chicken it wasn't spicy. I called to complain about my order and the same person that did not take my order, then took my order and still got it wrong WAS THE MANAGER!!! AND SHE TOLD ME I TOLD HER ORGINIAL.

I'm leaving this post because again I work in the community and I know it's a rough location and it takes hard work to be employed in California. But why be rude and not just...

I was VERY excited about Popeyes coming to the neighborhood. But that has changed. The West El Camino and Truxel location is severely lacking in customer service, appreciation, and respect of other people's time.

There is no organization and no "functional" system to get "satisfied" customers out of the store with "hot" food in a decent amount of time. I've purchased food (butterfly shrimp combos, family pack combos, chicken sandwiches, 2 & 3 pc combos, lemonades, chicken strips, etc.,...) at this location at least 10 times from the week that it opened, to this week and there has been little, if any improvement.

Two of the managers (females) that I've communicated with were unsympathetic and pretty much had "blame the owner" attitudes. If the owner and management are not here to serve and improve the community, they need to pack up and go. I'd rather drive out of my way to another neighborhood and receive...
