My wife and I came here for dinner on a Saturday (10/7) night. We’ve been here once before and thought we’d return. We love Mexican food and margaritas so Tacoa it is. The place is not very big with two dining areas. The 2nd dining area also happens to be where the bar is too. Ordering is at the counter. Not crowded at all, waited just a few minutes to place our order. Drink orders are all handled at the bar. The host was friendly. We ordered our margaritas at the bar and had drinks in our hands within 5 minutes. Our food order was delivered to our table within about 10 minutes. Here are the impressions. Food presentation is a 5/5. Food taste is VERY good however a tad on the greasy side so a 4.5/5. Portions are what I expected for a $4-$5 taco. It’s loaded with the fillings… no complaints there. The drinks… (we got the Blood Orange, the Spicy Mango, and the Cadillac) were all VERY good. Mixing cocktails at home has been a hobby of mine. I use top shelf ingredients and am often disappointed when I order cocktails at restaurants. There are only a few places where I will order cocktails and Tacoa is certainly one of them! A solid 5/5. Good job guys! Overall experience is a 5/5. Value to price ratio a 5/5. The place as I said is located in a weird spot. It’s not super visible off Folsom blvd. It’s like a hidden little gem to get great Mexican food and drinks. The atmosphere inside is welcoming. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by grab a couple of tacos and stay for a couple of drinks. You won’t be disappointed. If you find this review helpful, hit the like...

The fish tacos are also highly recommended, noted for their freshness and abundant taste.

Five stars for the tacos and margaritas. Don't order anything else. Just get tacos and or margaritas. The asada and al pastor in particular are superb, which we've determined after 3 separate visits. And for the vegetarians/vegans, the nopales tacos are great.

Burritos are a solid value -- you get a nice cylinder of calories with chips and salsa all for about $10 after tax. But my al pastor burrito on a recent visit was 2/3 rice and beans, 1/3 meat. Left me feeling pretty bloated, less satisfied. Probably won't bother with burritos in the future.

But the tacos and margs FTW!

Also: If you've got a big group of people to feed, order one of the "Tacos for 5" or "Tacos for 10." They give you all the ingredients in containers, and you can take it home so people can assemble their own. We did this for a small gathering recently, and it was ready to pickup...
