Temple House — Restaurant in Sacramento

I LOVED this place when it first opened. I was excited when we moved closer to it a year ago. I have gone a few times and even just yesterday. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined to the point that I won't go again. The orange chicken we got was again hard and chewy. I think they make all the food in the morning and just warm it back in the microwave and then add the sauce. It's not the first time we've received food like this, in fact, it's been every time we've gone in the last year. I thought maybe it was just the cook for the day or an off day but they haven't had a good day any time I've gone this past year. Heng Fat down the road takes longer but is fresh every time...

There food is horrible. I ordered shrimp egg foo young, war wonton soup and a brocolli beef dinner plate. First the shrimp egg foo young was a big pile of mush with shrimp on top. The gravy was watery and packed any flavor. The war won soup stunk like old dirty water. The brocolli beef had very little broccoli and the beef was tan, not brown just tan and huge pieces of beef that were definitely old. The pork fried rice and chicken chowmein were the worse. Spent well over $40 and threw it away. I wouldn't even give to the unhoused that's how bad it was. They serving this food to us in the hood and don't put no effort into it. Just GARBAGE 🗑️ don't waste...

Worst food ever!!! Do not go here. I live just around the corner but will drive the extra mile to go somewhere else. My husband says no more Temple house in this HOUSE!!!I went here a few years ago and ordered rice noodles a few times the last order was gross! I tried them recently and the veggies rice was ok. SI i decided to give them another chance. I ordered veggies rice, chicken rice noodles, curry chicken and walnut shrimp. All of it was nasty. I regret spending almost $50. I will not return.. The consistently just isn't there and when it's bad it's really awful...
