Wendy's — Restaurant in Sacramento

Honestly, I have to come clean and say I had Wendy's at a truck stop when I was younger, didn't like it, and for probably 20+ years never gave them a fair break.

Now, it's probably my favorite fast food place today.

The meat on their burgers is the most natural non-chemical, non-filler tasting burgers I can find almost anywhere in 2025.

I just had a chile cheese potato with butter and sour cream and it was AMAZING!

The fact that they make their own chili with the prime beef they use in their burgers is incredible, and what other fast food place even offers a baked potato??

I'm still getting to learn the menu and app better but this place has taught me I was so wrong about them. The burger was so good I actually went and looked up their beef! That should really tell you something.

In-N-Out doesn't even have beef this good and I'm sorry, but Dave's Double makes the Double Double look like a Big Mac. I'm fond of the Dave's Triple, and then I found out that Wendy's has a secret menu too??? And it's amazing, you really should check it out!

My wife is (was) an In-N-Out fan, so I brought her home a burger and a frosty, she's hooked now. She says compared to Wendy's, In-N-Out doesn't have any meat on their burgers!

I swear, I'm going to get a Dave's Double, a Double Double, and a Big Mac, take a photo comparing them cut in the middle, and add it!

Anyway, thank you. I work close by, and a co-worker goes here so I decided to give it a shot after decades of avoiding all Wendy's. I'm so glad I did, I had no idea, this place is so underrated!

There are no better burgers around here anywhere near their price range, when I think about how busy other drive-thrus are compared to them it feels like a crime, this place deserves...

My last visit was a little overwhelming because the host seemed to be annoyed from the beginning. I asked some questions about the menu, so she went to check if they had certain items and said she would let me know. She got back on the mic and I continued to order. She asked "Do you still want the frosty or not because you started ordering other items" I replied "Yes, if you have them. You said you would let me know" She then replied in a rude manner. "Oh, well, I thought you heard me say we do have them, so you do want it still or not because you ask for french toast sticks" I then became stern and replied "Yes! I want a large vanilla frosty with my order"

I pulled up to the window, and my order was wrong. I was handed a vanilla iced coffee instead of a frosty, which I ordered for my daughter, who recently got braces and couldn't eat solid food. I told the host, but she seemed frustrated. Luckily, Shane immediately identified that there was an issue. He stepped in quickly to help get my order correct. He did so politely, with a huge smile on his face, and apologized for the mistake. He was very calm, professional, and turned my experience around to make me a happy customer....

I am at the wendy's everyday I was in the drive thru tonight for 30 minutes the lady took my order read my order back to me and they still gave me non fresh food and spicy chicken nuggets that i only had 1 order of. I asked for 2 $5 biggie bags one was the double stack one with spicy chicken nuggets and strawberry Lemonade the other one was jr bacon cheese burgers without the patty with regular chicken nuggets and strawberry Lemonade. I was given all spicy chicken nuggets and cold food and I didn't realize my order was wrong till I got home. I am here everyday anybody their knows me by face sometimes I'm there twice a day. I spend way to much money for them to give me what they want to give me and not what I ask for. I've tried calling 6 times and it gets sent right to v.m. I'm very upset I waste so much time and money and still have to come home and cook my kids something to eat after waiting in line and paying for 2 meals. I worked 9 hours and was wiped out and just rather get something to eat out but it was a complete waste of time, gas and money. I just had spine surgery 26 days ago and don't have the energy after work to stand and...
