Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

Was in the area and needing a bite to eat. I was traveling with friends who spotted the sign and decided to stop as it had been a while since anyone in the vehicle had visited a Long John Silver's. The staff were a friendly bunch, but in no hurry to serve the growing line of customers both in front and behind our party of 4. While in line waiting to order I witnessed 2 previous patrons return to the counter with complaints about their meals being wrong. Fortunately our orders were delivered to the table without error, though in a not so timely manner. The self serve condiment station was in disarray and the napkin dispenser needing attention. I must admit, after the few complaints listed above, our group of 4 had no problem with the taste and quality of our food. I am an impatient customer at most businesses and expect the staff, anywhere, to keep the line at the register moving .. this was a definite fail at this location. For this reason, along with the appearance of the condiment station, I would not recommend this location to friends. But the food was...

I'm homebound and disabled. I wanted seafood for my dinner and asked my home health aide to stop there to pick up my order.The hushpuppies had been in the deep fryer at least twice-they were crispy/crunchy and contained no soft bread center. the fish was hot (important) but much greasier than any fish I ever cooked at home from scratch. The shrimp and Cole Slaw were the only part of the meal that made me pleased with my selection. I told my aide I would not bother asking for her to pickup any future meal there. I also asked her to remind me of this experience if I ever suggested stopping at Long John Silvers...

They were slow and they gave us too many onion rings -we ordered 1 serving & they gave us two. They gave us no Cole slaw though we ordered 1 serving. They gave us hush puppies when we specifically said we didn't want any when asked. They repeated our order correctly, filled the sides incorrectly. I was disappointed when I discovered that the fried foods were cooked in the same oil as the shrimp. I have an allergy to shrimp. The rest of my family could eat...
