We are locals and decided to try this restaurant for the very first time, we have our favorite spots and need to just stick to them! Being in the biz I am beyond shocked at the service and the quality of food, the atmosphere and cleanliness I’m sorry how dare them charge higher than Actual waterfront restaurants, absurd! They are 2-3 blocks from the water. Corn beef Ruben the server said is one of the most popular items on the menu I can’t see how it’s mainly sauerkraut barley any cornbeef the bread was hard as a rock and tasteless, my sons blackened chicken sandwich was the most thinnest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen, fries were as if they were the scraps of the bowl. My younger son had the Gonzo Burger burger meat was tasteless basically tasted like a ham and cheese melt with a burger patty in the middle. My husband and I both ordered Ceaser salads as our side which came after our food. We had to go (inside) to ask for condiments and napkins so we could eat our food. Horrible service I’m sorry I’m not one to do this but it’s out right sad these days how just anyone gets thrown on the floor to serve food to paying customers when they have no personality, experience, or knowledge of the menu. Refills?!? umm never got those bc we had to ask another server after waiting 25 minutes after being done eating to go get our server so we could have the check. Sunset Grill Blows this place so far out the park, have no clue how they can have the words World Famous in the name of their restaurant. Won’t...

My husband and our family frequently visit this establishment. We live in St. Louis but have family in st Augustine so we are there often. Let me start with positive notes- Kevin’s service is amazing and I am so glad he is still there. We also had a great bartender named Bree - she is so kind and helpful. Then came Roxanne - the tables turned- we got our first drink fine then it all changed . I had an empty glass sitting on the bar for 15 mins- she was on her phone and talking to the same two men. With her back to us . After waiting for that time I got up and asked her if we could please have a drink- there were four of us- Roxanne slammed her phone down and said I didn’t need to talk to her like that. I explained our frustrations and she said that she was in the middle of a conversation and I should not have interrupted - now my sister in law got involved and explained customer service works. I said that if she didn’t like how I spoke to her to get her manager and I would explain to them. She then got nice but continued to be “snarky” the rest of the evening. I never wanted to return based on her interactions with us - something needs to be done with Roxanne if she cannot serve when there are very few people upstairs. One other issue I have is Kym is no longer there- she was the reason we all went to oasis and I get here in October and she is gone after 30 years… very sad - wish she would come...

We went on a Wednesday night. It took 35 minutes to be seated, and then we sat at our table for 2 hours waiting for our food. Another family who came much later than us was seated, served, ate, paid, and left before my family even received our meals.

I had received my food earlier because I only ordered steamed shrimp and raw oysters. My husband and son ended up leaving the restaurant to sit in the car, while my daughter and I waited for them to finish cooking and bagging the rest of our order so we could take it home.

The restaurant closes at 9, and we didn’t get our food until nearly 9:30. The waitress was very nice and kept apologizing, saying the kitchen was backed up. However, she had no explanation for why the other table was served and gone, while we were still sitting there after closing—surrounded by staff cleaning up and clearly wondering why we were still there.

We had no choice but to wait, as no other restaurants were open in the area at that time, and there were no fast food options nearby. It was a bummer, especially since the atmosphere was otherwise so positive.

The food was great, but I was just disappointed that we were served so late, especially considering how much the meal cost. People were walking around cleaning and looking at us like, “Why are they still here?”

Good luck on your adventure there—the food is great, but just be...

Great place for St. Patrick's day. Green beer, bag pipes and a dancing leprechaun on the roof. Crowded but fun. Be there!

We went there for breakfast over the MLK Day weekend. They were fully staffed both upstairs and down and had so many options for seating: indoors, outdoors, bar, high tops, regular tables. The portions were large and reasonably priced for a tourist area. Food was all well seasoned (I hate bland food). I had the shrimp and grits with the shrimp blackened (you could get it fried if you preferred) and I chose a biscuit for bread and topped it off with a Coke Zero. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and had tails on. There was a generous portion of shrimp and the grits were cheesy. These were topped with peppers and onions that were chopped little and a sauce that was Devine. These bouquet was flaky and the best I have had in a long time! The waitress was quick to refill drinks, food came out quickly, and when I asked for a to-go drink it was a large 32 ounces. She took a bit long with our checks but every other part of the service was exceptional. It has a beach vibe but you can’t see the ocean 🌊 or anything. The total for my food was $23 before tip. My friends had the Bacon, Lettuce, Egg, and tomato and one of the eggs Benedict’s. Both had home fries and we were all happy with the great seasoning, portions, and overall presentation of the food.
