I really wanted to like Flamingo Coffee, but it was disappointing from the start. The menu feels uninspired, just very basic coffee drinks with no real signature options that stand out. For a place that gives off such a fun, vibrant vibe, the food and drink offerings don’t match the energy.
The seating isn’t very comfortable either, and nothing about the space makes you want to stay, relax, and enjoy your drink. Even the coffee itself tasted watered down. I figured since they’re new, I’d give them a second try.
Well, I came back today, and they were closed with a sign saying they went to “go surf.” I get it, there’s a hurricane coming in, but for a brand new business, it feels careless not to have reliable hours or at least update them online. I can’t imagine how many people showed up just to be disappointed.

Just stepped into the new flamingo-inspired coffee haven in St. Augustine, and I’m already obsessed. From the blush-pink walls to the tropical accents, this place feels like a mini vacation in a mug. 🌴✨
I went straight for a silky latte (because first impressions matter), and it did not disappoint — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Sipping it while grooving to the soft tropical beats in the background, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d escaped to some dreamy island café.
The vibe? Pure Instagram gold — think playful flamingo décor, cozy corners for catching up with friends, and a sunny energy that just makes you smile. Whether you’re here for a quick caffeine fix, a lingering coffee date, or a little midweek pick-me-up, Flamingo Coffee House delivers it all with charm and style.

Read moreExtremely upset- my husband has a severe dairy allergy (anaphylactic) and was told they could accommodate his latte using almond milk, and that they don’t need to stir it or anything just to avoid any possible cross contamination with spoons/ mixing utensils. They marked his latte on the cup as almond milk and no dairy. He started drinking it and immediately realized it has whole milk. I worked as a former barista and know this is easily avoidable. I know they can not ever promise that there wont be cross contaminated but carelessness of marking the cup as dairy free and using whole milk in it is unacceptable and could lead to people like my husband dying. Very disappointed. cross contamination is extremely avoidable. I’ve worked in coffeehouses, i know it isn’t hard to not mix this up when someone makes the effort to communicate how serious...
