I have been a frequent patron of this coffee shop since its opening, using it as a go-to spot for studying. Unfortunately, my overall experience has taken a nosedive over time, prompting me to reconsider my choice of study haven. While the initial appeal was strong, recent visits have left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

One of the primary issues I've encountered is the diminishing quality of both the coffee and the service. The coffee, once a reliable companion during study sessions, has become merely moderate in quality and, quite frankly, overpriced. This alone could be overlooked, but the consistent inaccuracies in my orders have become increasingly frustrating. In the last three visits, my orders were repeatedly botched, with staff members mistakenly adding items I did not request and charging me extra for these unwarranted additions.

A glaring example of this mismanagement occurred during my last visit when I ordered a coffee with cold foam, only to receive whipped cream instead, accompanied by an additional charge of $1.50. Such discrepancies are not only inconvenient but also indicative of a decline in attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

The incident that ultimately led me to sever ties with this coffee shop was during a recent study session. I meticulously set up my workspace, eagerly waited in line, and placed an order exceeding $10.00. However, the moment my payment was accepted, the staff informed me that their wifi was not functioning. This left me with no choice but to abandon my plans to study, with a considerable sum spent on a coffee that was not only made incorrectly but also came with the added disappointment of no internet access.

In conclusion, while this coffee shop was once a reliable and conducive space for study, the decline in both the quality of products and services has become too apparent to ignore. It is with a heavy heart that I must admit I will no longer be a patron of this establishment. With such a stunning interior, I was optimistic about the coffee experience to follow. Unfortunately, we were sadly disappointed.

The inside is absolutely lovely and there is ample seating when you include the long bar down the side of the shop. But alas, a coffee shop with terrible coffee does not make the inside worthwhile regardless.

Service was as bit bumpy and there is a real need for customer service and counter training, but the baristas were polite and helpful. I do think they need some help teaching them how to actually be baristas, which isn't their fault.

They only offer a cappuccino in an 8 oz side, which was disappointing, so I ordered an Americano instead. Somehow, I ended up with both. Ok, mistakes happen, but the Americano was lukewarm at best, and the cappuccino only slightly warmer. The other coffee items in our order were also lacking in temperature and flavor. The cold foam was not at all foamy.

The chocolate croissant was very good, but the bagel was dry as sand.

There is Kelly's ice cream available here, but we did not try that. There is also a small parking lot they share with a CBD store, which is helpful on King Street.

Overall, there are many far superior coffee places in the area to go back, but maybe in the future I'll give them another try to see if they've improved with time. Hopefully, the experience will match the...
