After frequenting this breakfast spot for the past six months, visiting two to three times a week, I can't help but feel disappointed by the consistent mishaps in service. Despite clearly requesting medium eggs, I'm consistently served sunny side up. The most recent visit was particularly frustrating when, not only did they forget my bacon order, but upon reminding them, they brought me the bill for it without actually delivering it to the table. The lack of attention to detail and follow-through is evident, as they never brought out the bacon even after charging for it.
What's more disheartening is the lack of accountability displayed by the staff. Instead of rectifying the mistake promptly, I was met with confusion and indifference. Even though I clearly communicated my preferences to the staff, they still managed to get it wrong, not once, but repeatedly. It's evident that there's a communication gap between the customers' orders and the kitchen staff.
While the staff members are undeniably pleasant, their inability to execute orders accurately and efficiently undermines the entire dining experience. The mention of ensuring my bacon is "well done" after the fact only adds to the frustration, showcasing a lack of attention to detail and customer service.
In conclusion, while the people at this establishment are undoubtedly kind-hearted, their operational shortcomings overshadow any positive attributes. It's unfortunate to say that I won't be returning. Perhaps they should consider renaming their tip jar to a "hearing aid donation jar" given the apparent communication issues. Bless their hearts, but they certainly have some improvements to make in order to meet customers'...
Read moreI have been here many times prior to 3/5 members in my family being diagnosed with celiac disease. I called this morning to see if they offered gluten free donuts and after hearing no I asked if that was a possibility down the road? The lady was extremely rude and laughed and said ma'am I have a line out the door call back later and hung up. That's fine if you're busy and can't talk at this minute but to laugh and hang up on me as I'm trying to ask what time would be good to call back is poor customer service and rude. It's bad enough we hear about how gluten free is a fad when we have been struggling with the emotional and physical part (7 ankle fractures) is heartbreaking. We are teaching our kids to always call and just ask and to speak up, but then get shut down and laughed at is just heartbreaking. Just to educate marios and anyone else who NEEDS to hear celiac is an autoimmune disease that destroys the small intestine and can lead to infertility, cancers, vitamin deficiencies which then lead to broken bones, malnutrition, etc... It does not just cause extreme nausea, vomiting and diarrhea and severe cramping. I pray that we show everyone with respect and kindness when simply asking a question. My kids were the ones who asked to call Mario's and I had you on speaker to show them how to simply ask and I get laughed at and hung up on. Very disappointed and will not return there. I explained to my kids that you were in a hurry and didn't have time to talk but to laugh and belittle me on the phone and to hang up is uncalled for and maybe you just were having a bad day. Whoever you are I pray your day gets better and you read...
Read moreAfter a good experience picking up donuts here we decided to come back to try the food. Majorly regret that decision. 3 problems, in order from minor to serious: They were almost out of donuts by noon on a Sunday. Only 1 out of 6 was something we actually wanted. Get home to find out my gyro omelet has no meat in it and is instead a feta omelet. Midway through the meal discover said omelet is undercooked, and full of raw egg. At first I thought it was the feta cheese as that can sometimes be mistaken for raw egg when it starts to melt but nope. Runny whites and yolks. Just simply not cooked. I’m starving so I go to eat the leftover half of my kids breakfast sandwich and find raw egg in that too. This is a huge problem, this is a health hazard!!! as a pregnant woman and someone with years of experience as a line cook. When your only job is to cook food and you can’t be bothered to make sure the food is fully cooked before serving it to paying customers… idk what to say. How else can you show that you just don’t care. Feels like a slap in the face, not to mention that omelet is not cheap!! I was hesitant to go here for that simple fact and ended up throwing half the food away. 2 out of 3 egg items were raw. We tried calling them right away but no answer. What a waste of time and money. It was $11 for just the omelet, no hash browns or side included like at other places for the same price!! Now knowing that for that price you can’t even expect your food to be fully cooked, I would advise you to think twice before choosing to spend your hard-earned money here rather...
