I ordered kn line 2 sandwiches at about 4:08 pm, they also have a traker and I could see they received my order. I called after a half hour to make sure they did receive it and they are working on it, it was the first time I ordered on line, I usually call. I was told that the driver just left with my order. But nothing was updated on the tracker. After 15 more minutes, I called again, this Jimmy John's is about 6 min from my house. I was told again, that the driver just left. I waited 15 more minutes and I called again. I was told that the order has been delivered. I'm looking outside the door with them on the phone, nothing. I was told that I missed it, how can I miss it when I checked outside my door and I also have a ring and nobody came to deliver anything. They thought I was lying to get more food. I am still so frustrated for the way they talked to me, the guy that I talked to last, said he will make the sandwiches AGAIN and have them delivered AGAIN. I didn't need anything else from this place but a refund. After he told me it would take 3 to 5 days to get my money back. He hang up on me. I called back and they kept rejecting my calls. Called back till finally someone answered and I told him that they never made the sandwiches. The tracking on their website did not show any updates since the last one that was showing that they received the order, nothing else. Unbelievable and its too bad because I really like their sandwiches. No more freaky...
Read moreSo this was a weird and disappointing visit to Jimmy Johns. A couple of days ago I stopped there on a busy day, and ordered a #9 with extra lettuce, hot cherry peppers, and asked for my receipt. The girl who took my money indicated the receipt would come with the sandwich at the other end of the sandwich prep counter. I watched them roll up the sandwich, and noticing no lettuce, asked if the sandwich had extra lettuce, and the prep guy said it did. So I took his word, left with my lunch, and went to go find someplace to park and eat. Unfortunately, upon opening up the wrapper, I discovered less than normal lettuce, and no cherry peppers. I then realized I had been sent out the door without my requested receipt as well. The stuff on the sandwich was fresh and tasty, but it was not what I ordered, and so that was a disappointment. I have eaten a bunch of Jimmy Johns sandwiches over the past several years, and the guy who built this one probably needs to be taught that other locations are putting the stuff on the sandwiches that the customers request and pay for. This visit was a disappointment, at one location of a franchise outfit that I have mostly been very happy with...

I'm grateful that they didn't prohibit me from using their men's restroom before ordering, because I really had to use it. I believe this location of Jimmy John's is similar to all the others nationwide---order a specialty sandwich, and it gets made before you can finish singing the first verse of "Rikki Don't Lose That Number." Okay, that wasn't the Steely Dan song I had heard, but "Do It Again" while eating my lunch. And that's the thing---you hear nothing but rock & roll in this place. I'm glad. "Do It Again," "Better Man" and "She Drives Me Crazy (My Super Ex-Girlfriend)" were among the songs I'd heard. I'll divulge: I'm black, I'm forty-eight years old, and I've been a rock & roll fan since the age of seventeen. And I don't believe there are very many places to go eat and hear rock & roll. I'm also willing to believe that there are some white people who actually hate rock & roll and actually love hip-hop and rhythm & blues, as I'd already met one white man like that. I think I'll leave that for another story. Jimmy John's is my...
