Thought this was really good with an abundance of food, the rice was not really good though. Lacked flavor, but it is chicken fried rice, just needs a touch of sodium at least or some real flavor. Egg rolls were great, had some shrimp in there, by some I mean one.. They were stuffed real loose also making them look large but not a ton of filling mmkay. Everything was super hot and fresh, the girl on the phone said 10 to 15 minutes I got there in like 12 and they were bagging it up in the back. By the time I was done paying it came out, perfect. Did not know there was going to be mushrooms in the cashew chicken, next time I would get it without and add water chestnut. . Gotta watch out for those mushrooms these days. A little less sauce next time also guys c'mon. The sesame chicken was excellent, had a mild sauce with the meat being perfectly crispy. The big thing about this place is the big price. $31.42 for two combination dinners is a bit nuts. It is 3 meals, but for less money we can get three meals worth of food at Peking Villa that tastes great also.. With better tasting rice, which is what we would have gotten if they answered their phone. That's why we ended up trying this place. Was here 10 years ago when they served us undercooked chicken and we never went back. If I said something about four stars up there somewhere it's going to be three after thinking everything through doing this review. Worth a try if ya got deep pockets.. In fact, I'm going to include a photo of both menus side by side you can see the prices for yourself. They do have dine in here, for some reason when I was there there was not a single person except for some old guy eating pizza I think with all kinds of paperwork next to the register. Damn pizza...
Read moreNew owners. Now the food sucks and the service does too. I called and ordered the same order I get every single time. Beef chow mein with the pan fried noodles in a pint. The woman in the phone never bothered to say that you can only get the pan fried noodles in the quart size now. They gave us a bag of chow mein noodles instead. When I called to let them know, I hear the woman who took my order in the background saying “I thought she just ordered beef chow mein.” but I had specifically said “pan fried noodles” twice and even said catonese style. She then explained to me how it depends on size and when I asked her why she didn’t tell me that on the phone she blamed it on there being new owners. They agreed to take my number for a free order next time but we won’t be using that. After hanging up we looked at the rest of our food. The chow mein is now all bean sprouts with very little meat. No pea pods, no broccoli, nothing. Very little sauce at all. Not good. The sweet and sour chicken literally had two small pieces of pineapple and two half pieces of pickled squash and that’s it. The rest was dry chicken and zero sauce. The chicken fried rice is salty and nothing like it used to be. Wongs was the best Chinese restaraunt but now it sucks. We won’t...
Read moreI've been there 5 times. The first time was good. The second our order was incorrect but we kept it. The waitress had a attitude and "incorrectly" said she was the manager but, as we were leaving, the manager greeted us to ask about our dining experience. We had already decided not to ever go back but, changed our minds after talking with her. It was downhill after that. The next 2 times we visited the restaurant they waited on people who came in and were seated after us. The first time that happened we ordered. The 2nd time we left because it was obvious that we were being ignored. The last time I went by myself. I was seated. They had been open for 20 minutes. There weren't any other patrons inside. No one offered me a drink or to take my order. Two people came in and place their orders at the counters. All the while I sat there waiting for someone to take my order or at least give me a glass of water. 2 or 3 people kept coming from the back. They'd look at me but no one came to my table. After 20 minutes (and after to carry out customers left) I gathered my coat and purse and left. I don't want to say this is racially motivated but if it is left me know when I first enter; don't have me sitting around for no...
