â 1 Star (if I could give zero, I would)
If you love watching your small children get treated like criminals for daring to smile, this is your place. Otherwise, stay far, far away from Bubble Pops in St. Cloud.
I came here with my two young kids for noodles â we paid and were just waiting for our food â when an employee (apparently the balloon decorator) stormed over and started yelling at my 3-year-old for standing near a display and wanting to take a photo. My daughter wasnât touching or damaging anything â she was literally just happy and smiling. Instead of handling it like a decent human being, this woman got right up in our faces and acted like we were intruders in some âprivateâ event.
When I calmly told her my child wasnât doing anything wrong, she doubled down and told us we had to move or sit in a âback room.â Seriously â we were told to go hide in the back for ordering lunch. The entire group of workers and a few people from the party just stood there glaring, cold and nasty. It was humiliating and disgusting.
And as if that wasnât enough, while we were waiting for our refund (yes, they made us leave instead of letting my kids eat the noodles weâd already paid for), they brought out cake right in front of my children and told them they couldnât have any â while we were still at the table. The cruelty was unreal.
The energy in this place was hostile, unwelcoming, and flat-out racist. You could feel it. My kids were polite, gentle, and excited â they werenât running wild or disrespectful. Weâve eaten all over Florida, and Iâve never seen people treat families this way.
Bubble Pops in St. Cloud should be ashamed. I wouldnât wish this experience on anyone. There are plenty of places nearby that actually appreciate customers and treat children like people, not problems.
Go anywhere else â literally...
Read moreI used to go to the little cafe here before and i was super excited to see the space opened again. I personally love boba and was super excited to see something other than sip n dip that offered it. The vibe of the place is crazy, it had flashing strobe lights and lasers and flashing colors and it was awesome, very Orlando vibes definitely not st cloud lol. The staff was amazing, the space amazing, theres an arcade cabinet, a pong table, merch and a little stage, super cool. Me and my family all got boba and food. Takoyaki was fire, super good i highly recommend but it seemed kinda half cooked almost microwaved. The gyoza seemed store bought and it was air fried or something, they were black and really hard to eat (like gyoza when i overcook it in the air fryer). The spring rolls were the same, seemed store bought but not cooked enough, they werent cripsy like spring rolls should be. My sister got purple rain, which was supposed to come with boba but didnt, and instead the bottom was covered in these weird things (?) they were fleshy and gross and it felt like gunk? If you get ice, theres a enourmous ice to drink ratio, the smoothie was good, however. We purchased two drink and did a meal deal with the gyoza and spring rolls and it ended up being over 25$ which is kinda pricey for burnt and un-cooked food. They also mixed up the drinks we got so accidentally drank each others at first because we were told wrong. I feel bad writing this cause the staff and place were amazing and i really wanna go again but the drink and food experience was so disappointing i dont...
Read moreThis is just shy of 5 stars because of their social media platform. I initially found you guys from a posting through FB market place, and you guys were the first place for me to get authentic Labubus! For that I am so happy for discovering you!
I think you guys have a lot of potential, however whoever is in charge of your social media is severely unorganized. You guys âranâ a âcontestâ for some photoshop pop contest. It was very poorly worded and how to submit the photo wasnât clear, nor any of the deadline dates. I messaged you guys on Instagram about it; to which I was told they would make a post later that day about it. Itâs been nearly 2 weeks and you guys pushed it under the rug. Itâs totally fine, I just think you should have someone there just in charge of your marketing. You have potential but itâs all over the place.
Not to mention you guys selling the pin for love labubus and stating the sell date, then surprisingly change it the day before? To me you guys need to stick true to your words and your dates, and that seems to be true to a lot of things.
Anyway thatâs my 2 cents, I hope you guys have it within your budget to get someone for marketing there. I Hope to see you guys thriving...
