We’ve been in Kissimmee / St. Cloud for about a month & decided to go out to eat in town! We could’ve gone to Chilis or Outback , any other Franchise business but we decided to eat some Latin food! &&& not just any dinner, FIESTA AZUL TEQUILA HOUSE RESTAURANT STYLE DINNER!! We came here (Wednesday night) around 8pm & there was a few people sat including us so to us it was perfect since we had our 3yr old son who was eager to eat quickly! &&& the wait time between ordering & eating did NOT disappoint! Neither did the food! We got free chips & salsa to start, ordered the KIDS CHEESE QUESADILLAS w FRIES, & we ordered the FLAUNTAS AHOGADAS as appetizer & tried the small TAMARINDO MARGARITA & the large EL PATRRRRRRRON MARGARITA! Our waiter/bartender DIEGO took the orders & made the drinks which we thought was extra special! Next was entrees! I ordered the PARRILLADA & my husband ordered the classic CARNE ASADA! Presentation was sooo enticing! & even the plates they were served on was so original! We loved it even before taking a bite! As we dove in our beautiful dinner, we fell in love! My husband was like “yeah we’re coming back here” before finishing his entree! Haha, as a wife, I was so happy they were pleased! My husband ordered another TAMARINDO MARGARITA but this time size large! So good! & next was dessert! (Yes we had room because we took portions of our diner togo haha) we ordered the MEXICAN FRIED ICECREAM which tasted like an icecream dessert with crunchy hints of churros w chocolate! It was such a treat! && lastly, we were about to get the check when we noticed the MILLIONETA MARGARITA!! We just had to get the FULL FIESTA experience!! We ordered it & this drink was SO delicious! It tasted like a fancier margarita but with more flavor & you can actually see the gold sparkles with every sip! It was definitely worth the money! Diego was so kind to offer us free shots to end the night! Haha! Overall our family enjoyed our first (but NOT LAST) experience with FIESTA AZUL!! Diego is such a great attentive waiter & he KNOWS how to make drinks with care & love! It’s very rare to find places & people that care so much about the customer & quality of the food & overall experience so to dine at FIESTA, it really feels like we found a diamond in the rough! Definitely check out this beautiful restaurant at least once if you’re in the area & want a different & new experience! We took a chance here & our lives are forever changed :) thankyou so much to Diego & EVERYONE who works at FIESTA AZUL TEQUILA HOUSE RESTAURANT! Keep up the great work, it does not go unnoticed & we WILL DEFINITELY be back...
Read moreWe placed an online order for salsa, guac and chips to go with the tacos we were making, their guac and SALSA is amazing as well have had it in the restaurant every time we go. The last time we ate there our service was so unbearably terrible that we swore we wouldn’t dine in again. It’s a shame too, it has been a weekly tradition on Friday or Saturday to have dinner and a margarita (or 5) there. It’s been a couple of months, I figured, since we’re doing a taco bar at home, and I’m passing by, why not get fresh salsa, guac and chips. Sure it will be a bit more, but a hell of a lot better than store bought and I don’t have to make it, so win win. Well, apparently their poor service extends to their take out orders… considering it’s Friday, we gave them an extra 30 minutes after the time on the order to pick it up. We get there, there is no hostess to be found, they are moderately busy, but we have seen this place crawling with people and it USED to run like a well oiled machine, no more. Finally the very server that has ruined this place for us comes up, offers to seat us, with a little bit of back and forth, we get him to understand we have a to go order, he brings it out, pre bagged, all seems well. Until we get home and indeed we received our chips, 3 bags. We received our 3-8oz guacs, no problem there. And our 32 oz salsa you ask, no, we got 32oz of chimichuri sauce. Not that I don’t like chimichuri, but I don’t need a quart of chimichuri, nor did I order that. Tried calling, no answer. After the 5th attempt, I finally get an answering machine from 1996. I’m not driving 20 minutes to go back and wait 30 minutes only to be disappointed. Sadly, we won’t ever be going back and I’ll place a claim on my debit card against them. Damn shame, this place used to be top notch, now they’re just a waste of...
Read moreDecent atmosphere, newer... loud inside. The outside area was peaceful and nicely done so we walked out there while waiting. The problem was the 45 minutes we sat at our table waiting to place our order and then even longer to get food then checks. It was a birthday reservation dinner and we never saw our server. We had 6:00 reservations and it was 6:48 when she came to start taking our orders. Chips n salsa chips were the broken pieces at the bottom of a bag, drinks stayed on empty. Bar drinks took well over 10 minutes to get. My chicken chimichanga looked like a bomb, just odd looking (it's what I order everywhere and it's never been presented this way..), it was gross, definitely an undercooked tortilla, and sat in a gallon of grease and water which was unappealing. That made it all soggy so I just pulled the chicken out and had a few bites. Decent flavor. The fact it took so dang long to order and get food (2 hrs), I was just ready to go and didn't even want to order anything else. Nearly everyone at the table got fajitas but the tortillas didn't come til later on, then my niece didn't get her fajita setup til we all were almost done. As much as we literally flagged our arms in the air, we couldn't catch anyone's attention. My second time here, the first (when they first opened) was very unimpressive, and this will be the last. So glad I had a gift card. We just gave the gift card to someone else to pay our meal (around $30) since we waited for forever to get our checks (brother eventually went to the host stand to pay his bill), and told em to keep whatever was left of the $50 gift card. We'd never be back. I doubt anyone else will either because the family group chat blew up about how sick everyone was,...
