If I can give this restaurant zero stars I would. Let's start from the beginning. Went there today at 1:30 pm with nobody there at any tables. Waited 5 minutes for someone to come to the front to sit me. Another 10 minutes before someone who i guess was my server to ask what I would like to eat, & drink. When I received my drink it was over 6 minutes later. Keep in mind nobody else is there sitting. It was another 15 to 20 minutes before the chief came, & started cooking. Noticed some ants on the table, told the cook he did nothing but laugh, & shakes his head. Told the server she told me " that's ok, as long as it does not get into your food " ok, received my food. For $26+ they give you a small dinner portion. Now it was not lunch it was a dinner combo I asked for. The steak was very chewy as if it was either old or the bad part of the steak. The chicken smelled, & had this weird not so good smell. The rice was still hard as the cook seem to over cook it not sure how you over cook rice. Also, they put no eggs into the rice. When asking for extra white sauce, after the cook left i could not find my server. So I had to get up from my table to ask for sauce. A rude lady came out, & stated " if you wanted more sauce you should have asked your chief " but it is 50 cents for sauce. I laughed thinking she was joking, & she was not. When I asked her again, she said they will charge on my check. I said, ok no problem still thinking it was a joke. I also requested a soda both times, & both times the soda did not have the syrup in it. I had told them both times, & they supposedly fixed but never did. I never finished my meal. I asked for the check, & pow! They charged me an extra $1 for 2 sauces while I was eating inside. I told the lady she may have made a mistake, & she said " no, no, no, no mistake, we charge for sauce after chief leaves the table " wow! Neber heard of that. Anyway, I paid because I just did not want any further problems. When signing, the lady said to me " don't forget tip huh, I be good " I looked at her, & said the food was not so good, & there where ants on the table, your soda has no syrup, & I mean you charged me for sauce. Yet I still tipped $7 off a $31.25 bill. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, & the bathroom smelled like bad mopping or using the same mop for to long. They had no soap in the men's bathroom, & no paper towels. I will never go back to this place again. Horrible customer...
Read moreI hate to be that person but I dined here a few months ago and I am still shocked by the service I received. Although, it wasn’t the worlds worst experience I don’t think that should be the standard at which this place operates at. I have heard amazing things and I truly hope that my experience was an isolated event. To cut to the chase I came to this restaurant maybe 2 hours before closing and ordered the eel roll, unfortunately I felt that it wasn’t up to par with eel rolls I had ordered in the past at other sushi spots as it barely contained any eel and was just a block of avocado. I voiced my concerns and my server proceeded to tell me that that’s just how the dish is made and even went as far as grabbing my fork and poking at the roll to show me where the barely visible eel was. I think that in this situation a substitution for my dish would’ve sufficed. Additionally, she told us to order anything we wanted before the kitchen closed soon, I found this confusing given that people were still being seated and we were some time away from their listed closing time. Why would people still be served if the kitchen was actively being closed an hour before official closing time? Not sure, maybe my lack of restaurant employment plays a roll in my confusion. The staff had began to pour buckets of cleaner solution that smelled very strong on the floor and were mopping right next to people who had only just been seated. Maybe I misinterpreted this but it gave me the impression that they were trying to get us to leave sooner rather then later. The rest of what we ordered was pretty good thankfully but I just can’t shake the terrible service I received there...
Read moreI read reviews before going from other people. I checked out the bathroom and it was very clean and smelled like flowers and great. Lady walking around i assume a manager was very nice and asking everyone how they were. The food portion we got was HUGE and the mizo supreme for 2 I think it was called. Chicken, filet mignon, shrimp, scallops, lobster, veggies, noodles, rice, salad and soup. Our kid got kids menu shrimp which also had all the veggies, soup, salad, noodles, and rice. I thought it was overpriced for a kid for like $15.99. But whatever. He got the show and plenty for tomorrow. We also had a lemonade, a beer and a large hot saki. Bill was $118. I feel like im gonna explode and I have enough of just my meal for 2 more meals. At least. Super good deal and no wait to get sat whatsoever. We did tell the guy who sat us it's my husband's birthday and he said happy birthday but I dont think they relay the message to the actual chef. Which we should have but I'm not sure how much English he spoke and we're too...
