I’ve been coming to this place for awhile. I usually place my order online and then pick it up in the store on my way home. The last time I placed an order here and ordered the 3 poke bowl. When I got home I realized that I only received 2 of the 3 proteins (they didn’t include the Kani Kama). When I called I spoke to someone on the phone who said I could come back and they would fix it. I was already home at this point so I told them I couldn’t. They told me the next time I came in to let them know and they would write down my information. When I came in today, I explained what happened, and the woman asked me if I called. I said yes, she asked me who I spoke to, I told her I couldn’t remember because it was a month ago. She told me that she writes down everyone’s information but didn’t have mine. She pulled out a few pieces of paper and said mine wasn’t there but didn’t even ask for my phone number or name to verify if it was written down on one of the pieces of paper. I told her I could pull up the transaction through my credit card and see when the exact date was if that helped. And she said no because I never called otherwise she would have my info written down. So I said that kind of sucks because I’ve been coming here for awhile, I’m not expecting anything for free, just maybe to be charged for the 2 poke bowl instead of the 3. She said she can’t help me because she didn’t have my information written down. I then showed her my loyalty card that was stamped and told her it was probably my 4th or 5th one. She again said that because I didn’t call and she didn’t have my information there’s nothing she can do (mind you, I did call). I told her I have no reason to lie about calling when I come here all the time, but if this is how something is handled maybe I won’t come back. She said good, that’s fine and it didn’t matter. I then gave her my loyalty card and told her I didn’t need it back nor did I need a receipt. Then she began talking to her family about the situation very loudly while my friend and I sat there and ate our food. I then saw one of (who I’m assuming is her daughters) take a picture of me while I was eating my food. So I asked if there was a photo taken of me. And then the owner came out and told me to stop taking photos of them? I explained I never took a photo of them, they took one of me. He then said that they have cameras so they can check. I told them please do. I then returned to eating my bowl and they continued to talk about me very loudly. Then they tried to engage with me again about what happened and said that I told them the customer service was bad due to an online order mistake. I tried to explain that it wasn’t about the online order being messed up, it’s about me bringing it to their attention (via phone) and again in person to basically be accused of lying over $2. They wouldn’t let me speak at all, they kept talking over me in an antagonizing tone. Then the wife of the owner kept saying “I’m uncomfortable you made me uncomfortable” so I said no worries, I can leave and finish my food in my car and I’ll be sure to review my experience. Then the owner came back over and started antagonizing my friend (who was just trying to finish her last sushi roll) telling her that he hopes she is happy with her choice of friends in life. And that she does a great job choosing friends etc. Then as we were cleaning up our table to leave he told me if I write a review I’m hurting their small business and he hopes I’m happy with that. I told him I’m only sharing my experience and I’ve supported them since the day they opened and to be treated like this is insane. At the end of the day it’s not about the $2 difference, it’s about the way I was immediately accused of “making this up” and the way my friend and I we’re antagonized while we tried to sit down and finish the food we ordered. Anyways, it’s safe to say I won’t...
Read moreMy fiance and I came into this restaurant, the staff were nice and the food was good, we ordered the rainbow roll, the beauty and the beast roll and the spicy tuna roll without spicy sauce, we also got miso soup, shrimp tempura, the Hawaii harumaki and the spam musubi. Overall everything tasted quite nice but the issue was, none of the rolls that we got other than the tuna roll were what we expected and the main reason for that is because not a single item on the menu had a description of what would be in it or how it was made which makes ordering very difficult because I don't like cream cheese at all in my sushi rolls and I was having to resort to googling all the rolls I thought about getting because I didn't have a waiter/ waitress to ask about the items I wanted because of all this I ended up getting something that had cream cheese in it and my fiance got stuck with something with eel sauce on it which she doesn't like at all. In the future I will be trying a...
Read moreAfter purchasing $68.74 cents worth of food I have to say I don’t understand this businesses like these, such a greedy culture. They think they’re going to become millionaires overnight. My daughter asked for spicy mayo on her food and the lady forgot it. When we went back in to ask for it and this lady has the audacity to ask for a dollar !!! Can you believe this nonsense ? I was shocked ! We explained she did not put the mayo sauce on the bowl and she then proceeded to put it on her bowl. Not to mention that she seems to be trying to rush you out of the place as soon as you go in. The food was ok, something different to eat.I will not be supporting this greed ! Anywhere else you go they don’t treat you this way and specially after purchasing food. Anywhere you go in the area with the exception of pizza places you get unlimited sauces ! Take your...
