Chillis tries, butnits just not there...but it's like, we live in StC. ..where else can u go? there is only so many places to "go get food out"...ya know? Lol.
Seriously though, they're lacking in a major way. Some a the workers are great, yet some are atrocious. I've never quite seen a place with such polar opposites in work ethic & staff behavior(this also goes for management). The managers are NOT helpful when there s a problem, & trust me when I say, there are Many, MANY problems that arise on a continual basis here. It's my fault I keep going...I'm not trying to rabbits the worst, but like I say, there s njot many restaurants, & I am invited out a lot with friends & family(which usually ends up a mess , as well). Orders are always messed up(at least 30% of whatever we order EVERY TIME). Half the time we get a really off or ugly server, yet the other portion of visits they're sweet as pie, so, u never know what you'll get. Some a them genuinely try, others are heinous, rude, & so.e d more time on smoke breaks & weekend plans thru tinder in the corner the. refilling drinks & bringing you the dish you actually ordered that u have been waiting for , for oh, say 20+ minutes(that's being generous).
All in all, I won't stop going, but ubhave significantly made my trips much less frequent, especially with some a the other options comin up around the area. Chilli s, u better watch out!! Your "to-go" station is aweful...I used to order go-to 3x a week for my work, & I have not once gotten a correct order in the 6 months we did that...we finally switched to Fat Boys, our old fav.anyway.
If u want to make money and be ahead of the "old-faithfuls'that us ol' Cloudians have patronized for decades, & continue to always, u need to up your game , like 100,000%... that is a lot a work to do. Can ya handle it?
By the way, last time I was in there with my mother, the pre-pay device at the table you can pay thru, had the tip percentages skewed...Yes, they WERE ASKEW. We told a manager, & she not only did NOTHING, she basically told us in Sweet-Southern, how we couldn't apply mathematics in our pea-brains(even though we told her what percentages were what and she couldn't even add or subtract with basic integers🤔). So, y'all, I'd watch what I tip these guys. So not fair to the servers that deserve it, but SOMEONE went into the computer & hacked the software to say that 15% tippage was double(meaning 15% higher than standard). Can u imagine how much money that equaled tontheones whonwere stealing it?!!!!

Read moreWow, don't go here if you want to eat any time soon. We got here, and the place is over half empty, and they have 20 min wait. I even heard the manager tell the hostess ( I use this term loosely. She certainly wasn't much of a host). to not seat people right away. I asked if we could seat ourselves like we used to at the bar side. The so-called hostess said no. Then I asked if we could sit at the table there to just sit to wait since all the bench seats were full. She said, "No." I said well, all your wait seating is full; she said,"Yeah." This was the kind of lack of personality answer to customers you would get from a recording. Why even have her up there? She was doing nothing for anyone. Total disappointment! I've had better service at a convenient store. Many people ended up leaving and going elsewhere. Sad to see a staple here fall so far. If they don't hire some competent staff for the host and manager positions soon, they will drive themselves out of business. Just an update: we have left eaten and gone home, and I still didn't get the text they promised for my table; it has now been 3 hours. The servers themselves are the only bright spot here; too bad we never got to that point.
Update: We tried again on 12/12/22. only because our son wanted ribs. I honestly wouldn't come here if you paid me to. This place is barely open anymore, and I know why. If you try to get seated even with more than half of the restaurant empty, you won't. The hostess if you want to call her that will literally tell you that you will need to wait. She told us 40 minutes by the way. Not only did she do that, but she literally argued with us about it to the point where I was so angry I decided to not order anything. I will never go to this place again of my free will. If I get dragged there by my family, I guarantee I won't order a thing. I wouldn't trust them to take care of anything. They place will likely close soon due to this constant mishandling of customers and poor service. I feel terrible for the wait staff that has to deal with people so angry from the start due to the poor host staff. Read moreWe went there on a Saturday evening. We got seated promptly on our arrival. The benches were dirty. Our server came to greet us with a nice attitude. She brought our drink in a timely manner. We ordered a basket of 16 bone in chicken wings, a plate of 5 chicken crispy crispers (we got charged for 6) and the kids had chicken crispy crispers and chicken pasta. We received our plates in about 5 minutes from ordering!! At first we were like, amazing service but the restaurant wasn't even 1/4 capacity. The wings weren't full cooked. The smallest one's seemed to be okay but the biggest one's still had bloody raw parts and uncooked pieces which appeared to be fat but ended up to be partially raw meat. We adressed the situation to our server after wating half of the plate, she said their wings are the way they should be. They just have fat and veins which is normal. I tried to explain to her that the meat wasn't fully cooked but she replied they are as they should... She said she will bring us the # of untouched wings as a replacement. We forgot to take a picture to post here. Other than the wings, the food in general was good except for the Mac n cheese being too salty. And at the end of our meal, we waited a while for our server to bring the check. After 15-20 minutes, she arrived and informed me we need to pay with the handheld device sitting on the table. The only way to get our receipt is by email, therefore we only noticed the overcharged for 1 plate. It was our 1st and last experience...
