Sweet Spot Snoballs — Restaurant in Saint Cloud

Sweet Spot Snoballs is the legit Louisiana/Texas style snoballs.. if you know anything about legit snoballs, you know you can only make one with a southern sno block ice shaver... and Sweet spot has it!!! We traveled over from Orlando while on a 3 day weekend trip.. The 30 min drive was well worth it for this snoball connoisseur. Supper fine, fluffy ice, great selection of flavors, stuff them with ice cream or cheesecake filling, and several choices for toppings, of course they have everyones favorite condensed milk... so why only 4 stars? I have had snoballs from dozens of shops across the US, and besides the type of machine used, the second most important thing is the cup...yes, the cup. The only cup shave ice should be served in is styrofoam. I know, I know, "but the environment, blah, blah, blah".. any other material than styrofoam just doesnt hold the ice long enough.. Sweet Spot serves out of plastic cups and the ice was nearly completely melted before half way.. this basically leaves you with a slushy. Overall, Sweet Spots ranks high for authenticity, flavor selection, stuffings...

Forget Sonic slushies and DQ Mistys, and go to this place for the best snow cone in the state. There's so many different flavors that you can try. They will even mix them together for you. There are even no sugar added flavors, so if you've got DIABETUS, you're still set with a sugar free snow cone with a lot of flavor. I wish I could get one every day. My kids love this place! Cute, priced fairly, but the customer service is not the best. Neither the owner nor the girl who is usually working there is very friendly. Very dry and not personable. They rush and seem annoyed. We have come here often and it’s always the same. I personally feel for a place serving snowballs and ice cream they’d be patient and not so rushed.
