Trey catered our wedding and it was phenomenal. Sorry no pictures since it was a busy day but here is a review for those who search by keywords.
The full experience catering was definitely worth it and I'm glad my wife convinced me not to try to do it myself lol. Trey setup the whole experience and broke it down while saving us the leftovers and we really appreciate it.
Onto the food.
Appetizers were pork mini tacos that just hit the spot they were so juicy and the sauce on top was just right with the lettuce mix the only thing I would have liked on top was some of the pico but yes I know it would have overdone it
The highlight of the meal was the ceviche 3 ways with mahi mahi. Everyone agrees that it was the best ceviche we have ever had and it was good enough we got our anti fish friend to try and agree 👍
The habanero passion fruit ceviche was the best it was just a little fruit taste followed by a little heat that if you kept eating a lot would grow into a explosion of wonderful flavor.
We also received the sesame ceviche which was delicious and really unique never had any before that and we all enjoyed it.
The traditional was perfectly made it
We were pleasently surprised being told when the fish was harvested and where it was a unique aspect that we were not expecting and we are happy :)
The last entree we had was a chicken taco station and it was exactly what we were imagining guests loved the flour and corn options both made beautifully. The chicken was very moist and perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices that did not overpower the chicken. The rice and beans were cooked great and trey did a fantastic job and will be recommended to anyone we meet
Thank you again we really appreciated your...
Read moreThe food is good but I almost never want to come back into the bistro because of the customer service. Baristas at times can be very rude and dismissive. One instance of this is when I was ordering once and two of them were holding an entire conversation behind the register as if I wasn’t there waiting to take my order. Then when they were ready for me, they just turned and looked at me instead of saying a respectful “sorry for the wait, may I take your order?” or “thank you for your patience!”. Just the other day I witnessed a small child go up to one of them to inquire about a missing drink and she didn’t even make eye contact with the child, much less acknowledge what she saying. The child then came back to her mother and reported that the barista had “sucked her teeth” at her in response to her asking the question. I too have asked questions and been blatantly ignored. Yes, the food and atmosphere makes for a mostly pleasurable experience, however some of the staff can be very rude and ruin...
Read moreGreat barista staff n service, but HORRIBLE food. One star because I had to give one. The Georgia sandwich is dry, pickles w/breaded chicken on thick brioche bread, veggie wrap saturated with grease, chicken tenders dry n tasteless (even with the watered down BBQ sauce option ), Shrimp po boy sandwich was the worst I've ever had. (An insult to a true po boy. All bread, lots of sauce, 5 shrimp, 2 slices of tomato and wilted lettuce). Yes, I had to open it up; all I saw was bread on the plate. I also would swear they add water to the condiments that aren't packaged, even the ceaser salad dressing. I've never before had runny tasteless ceaser dressing. (Still wonder what brand it was)
How is this place still in business? (I'm guessing by default n location choices)
Also ordered a passionfruit and a watermelon smoothie at $6.00 each and my 12 and 4 year old thought it was gross n asked for water! 🙄
Taking $$/business elsewhere, until they get their act...
