This is a nice little park and the fort is interesting, but nothing special. It takes about 15 minutes to do the whole fort, though there is some interesting history. If you are like me, you do all the reading before getting there, so walking around is quite quick as it’s a small fort. There is a park around it and other buildings that make up the historical site itself. However when I went all of these were closed. It was also really hard to actually find the staff and get my brochure and stamp. I think in the summer, its probably more interesting, when...

Park Rangers are theee WORST EVER!! MAYBE I DONT UNDERSTAND THE LAWS OF DRIVING OR PARKING ON THE STREET ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING BUT THESE RANGERS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO EXPLAIN THEMSELVES AND VIRGIN ISLANDS LAW IN PROPER ENGLISH AND STOP BEING IGNORANT BECAUSE THEY HAVE A BADGE. ALOT OF US LOCAL KNOW THATS THE GOVERNMENT STREET (PUBLIC) THEN TO HAVE SOMEONE WHO DONT LOOK LIKE US TELL US THIS IS FEDERAL PROPERTY AND TRY TO RECORD US WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION IS CRAZY. #CLARIFY #OR SHUT UP #AREN'T YOU ON FURLOUGH #YOU ARE NOT ESSENTIAL #THIS IS OUR ISLAND #IM...

We have enjoyed the tour, and it is more focused on the National Park history, which hubby and I enjoyed. Walked around the ground and the quint little town. I miss a whole lot around the water area because hubby and I decided to go back to see the glass shop. I didn't get to walk around the boardwalk area. But satisfied with our 3 hours walking tour with guide. Tour guide let us go on our last hour before heading back to our transportation back...

When in Christiansted you need to take the kids and wonder over to the fort! My daughter was in awe at the old world cannons, jail and history of this well kept fort! It’s a quick self guided tour so it’s at your pace but fun! Seems to be well kept as they were doing some historical repairs when we weee there a week ago! Enjoy!
