The Jimmy Johnās on Bluff Street in St. George is so freaky fast, I didnāt even finish swiping my credit card before they handed me my sandwich.
I blinked, and it was bagged.
I coughed, and they were already saying āhave a good day.ā
Driving away, I had an existential realization, how did they make it that fast? If life moved like that drive-thru, I could run a marathon in five minutes, read the Epic novel by Leo Tolstoy āWar and Peaceā in 38 seconds, and still have time to awkwardly rebutton my pants after an unexpected sneeze.
Iām convinced they donāt make sandwiches; they conjure them. Bread, meat, lettuce and BAM, done!
Either theyāve trained with NASA or time just works different in there. Iāll never truly know.
All I know is their service was faster than my retired professional tennis-playing grandmotherās backhand, not when she was playing tennis on the court, but the one sheād slap me with after catching me wearing her coral lipstick in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving frequented this location for the last year and change the quality of service is extremely inconsistent. The quality of the food is sometimes to question as well. Out of the last 12 visits 10 sandwiches have been made incorrectly (wrong bread, missing requested ingredients, left on ingredients that were requested removed... Etc) all of which were not discovered before being too far away to turn back and get it fixed. The shop is always full to the brim with teens behind the counter who seem to be more interested in their jokes and phones than their work and on a few occasions has the service been edgy (usually in the evenings within an hour or so of closing). Fresh ingredients and good sandwiches are no replacement for poor and inconsistent service. Pity, we used to like this location. Luckily, there are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is always fresh and delicious, and I've had good service here which is why I gave 4 stars. The service at this location while very friendly, is also incredibly slow. I have eaten here many times. I've also gotten delivery from here several times. My food has always been accurate and tasted good which is why I still go here, but do not order here if you are in any kind of hurry. I know they get busy, but 40 minutes for a delivery 5 minutes away is a bit excessive especially if you're on a lunch break. I've learned to order early, and that works out ok. The drive through takes a really long time too and that's even when they don't appear to be busy. The service has always been good, and the employees are friendly though. Basically, get ready for a yummy meal......
