Best Mexican Restaurant in St. George! La Botana is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and the inviting aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine. Excellent food! Great prices and I just had an amazing lunch with one of the employee. They are so kind polite and honest. One of the best authentic Mexican food out in St.George. This is underrated gem of the town. I highly recommend. I talked to the employee and she made me go through their tacos, burritos and bowl to make my choice easier. They also cater and don’t just go by the food truck! Food quality is supreme.

The tacos are simply out of this world—packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice. Their homemade salsas are the perfect complement, adding an extra kick to every bite.

The atmosphere is vibrant and feels like a true taste of Mexico. Whether you’re craving street-style tacos, flavorful burritos, or mouthwatering carne asada, La Botana delivers every time. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is unmatched. If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food in St. George, this is the spot....

Me and my mom went in here to eat today. When I cashed out my total was $12.88 and I paid with my card. How ever my bank sends me automatic texts of when a transaction is made and it said they charged me $15.40. On the receipt you have to sign, it has a line for you to leave a tip, which I didn't leave a tip with my card. And the same thing happened with my mom they over charged her a couple dollars as well. So we brought it to their attention and they denied that they had over charged us. When we told them that our total that our bank is telling us doesn't match up with the amount they said they charged us. They refused to reimburse the money that they took out. Luckily my mom got a receipt but however I didn't. Even when we showed them ours and her bank statement and the receipt they gave us showing that they charged us the amount of $12 but our bank statement was telling us $15, the continued to deny that they had over charged us and continued to refuse reimbursement. They were extremely rude about it too. Please be careful with this establishment and try to pay cash if you can. And always ask...

A TASTE OF HOME!! We just visited and we’re blown away! We had the Birria Asada Taco’s, normal asada tacos with onions/cilantro, a fruit bowl & the pink Fresca drink. The flavor was out of this WORLD!! You can tell they put a lot of effort in the overall flavor of their menu items. We’re from FL and have fruit/taco stands on just about every corner. I can say hands down these were the best tacos we’ve had in YEARS! The mild verde sauce was my favorite! Usually in FL the verde sauce tends to still be very spicy even though it’s “mild”. LaBotana’s was so yummy that even my 5yr old daughter was wanting it. I can’t wait until my family visits from FL so I can take them to this fine establishment & treat them! They will definitely be seeing me in there as often as I can & I can’t wait to go back! The only thing I wish they had was fresh coconut. Although I understand that it’s not as available as it is in FL. But I love fresh coconut in my fruit cup. That will not stop me from coming back. They definitely have won us over!! 10...

My wife and I were looking for a fun place to go out on a Saturday night. Every place we checked had a line out the door with a 45 minute wait. Then we drove past this little gem. Went in and found the atmosphere and staff so fun and authentic. We got the Birria tacos Carne asada fries Bean, rice and cheese burrito Cheese Quesadilla The portions were HUGE. The carne asada fries were LOADED with toppings and steak. I’ve come to expect ‘loaded fries’ to be 80% fries and 20% toppings. But these may have had MORE toppings than fries! Steak, guac, pico, beans, cheese. So freakin good. Then we started scooping the fries and stuff into the quesadilla and eating it like a taco. YUM. The sauces at the entrance rocked and I dumped them on everything.

I came in for dinner on a Thursday at around 6pm. Food is so good, BUT... Cashier's are not welcoming. You have to clean your own table. A dirty rug and chemical is available for that purpose. Only one quart of the restaurant is set up to sit costumers, the other half has chairs covering the table tops to keep people from sitting there. The floors, tables or chairs are definitely not clean. It makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. No air conditioning, window coverings or even an open window. It really gets toasty in here. Specially during summer. If you still decide to dine here, expect good tasting food, but nothing else.
