Where do I begin….
First off, I want to say that David, was great, very knowledgeable and helpful… we purchased a mattress and adjustable base set, and pillows, and sheets set for close to $12k (not a tiny purchase). One of the biggest selling points/pushes for us to buy it was it would be delivered the next day. I will list all the things gone wrong…
Bought on Tuesday, told would be delivered the next day. Wednesday comes, and we are contacted about it being delivered Thursday. Told them that was disappointing, but fine. Told us they would refund us $100 after it was delivered.
Thursday comes for delivery, and we get a delivery window from 12:30 - 2:30. Delivery guys finally show up around 3:30.
Delivery is done. They brought one of the pillows that was included, as the store gave us the other pillow, but didn’t have 2 of them. Well, we didn’t notice until after they left, they brought the wrong pillow. Also, that night, noticed they didn’t even attach the side of our bed frame together that was removed to put in the base for the bed.
Friday, the sheets set was delivered that was ordered. There was three different colors to chose from, we chose light blue, well dove gray was delivered, so I guess that’s what we get.
We took the wrong pillow back to the store here on Friday, and they said the correct pillow would be delivered to the store Monday and they would let us know when so we could pick it up. Didn’t hear from anyone on Monday, so went by the store Tuesday afternoon, and they had a sign up saying they were closed for cleaning.
Still haven’t received $100 refund, should I have to reach back out to them for that to happen? I don’t think I should, I didn’t ask for it, it was offered.
Any of those 6 things above going wrong on its own, is perfectly understandable, and could be dealt with very easily. But all of that happening from a single transaction, for what we paid, it’s absurd.
Update: The manager reached out to me, and genuinely was very apologetic for everything that happened, am changed my review to 4 stars, but am still leaving the events of what happened, as they did still happen. Read moreThe only person in the store was the manager of the store. He looked like he had just gotten out of bed and put on clothes from the day before. Didn’t wash his face or comb his hair. He had absolutely no knowledge of the mattresses. He had to keep running over to the desktop to look up information and prices. He tried to charge me the normal price instead of the sale price listed on the bed and on line. Another customer came in as we were finishing up. The manager got very flustered and didn’t greet the new customers or anything. As we left he didn’t thank us for our purchase or ask us to come back for our next mattress purchase. We also purchased a mattress protector that said 80% off and he tried to charge us full price until I asked him to adjust it to the sale price. It was a very long visit to the store. My husband even left at one point and went to Lowes. The manager was on the phone with the help desk when he left and when he came back. It was a very long and frustrating Saturday morning at mattress firm.

Read moreWe went into Mattress Firm to get an idea of what we would like to sleep on as our current mattress was starting to show it's age. After walking in, we were greeted by the store manager, David. David was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions while we searched for a mattress that we would like. After a couple hours of letting us lay on different mattresses, we landed on one we just couldn't get off of. David was kind enough to give us a stellar deal on the mattress with accessories we enjoyed and we couldn't say no.
All in all, we highly recommend David and his team at this Mattress Firm. We can't stress enough how pleasant of an experience the whole process was. We will be back to this location when we're in need of another mattress or...
