This is a little gem in the heart of St George! We stopped in after a long day jeeping the local trails and our choice did not disappoint! First, the food is AMAZING! At no point was there that questionable moment of what my intestines might do later, you know exactly what I'm talking about. A good reason for that is that there's no bait and switch with the pictures of the items they serve. My chimichanga (and the other dishes my family ordered) looked EXACTLY like the photo on the website. The presentation of their food is BEAUTIFUL and 100% accurate to what they advertise! Second, they have a salsa bar with I think 8 salsas. I appreciate being able to make a choice of salsa, because I'm white, and a wuss when it comes to hot stuff. Third, the establishment was very clean and visually appealing. You can tell the owners care very much about the cleanliness and nice atmosphere of their restaurant. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars, I can't...
Read moreI recently visited Ochoa's Mexican Grill based on my grandpa's recommendation, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! Having grown up with authentic Mexican cuisine, my grandpa declaring Ochoa's as his new favorite in St. George is the ultimate stamp of approval.
I enjoyed the Birria tacos, and the burst of flavors was unparalleled. The Enchilada, smothered in a homemade chili verde sauce that perfectly balanced spice and tanginess, was an absolute delight. As someone with a deep appreciation for authentic Mexican cuisine, this place felt like a hidden gem.
I'm looking forward to returning and trying their quesadillas and tacos al pastor. Ochoa's has quickly become my go-to spot for authentic Mexican dishes in St. George, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking excellent mexican food.
Kudos to the owners and the entire team at Ochoa's for bringing a taste of authentic tijuana style Mexican food to...
Read moreThis is a fabulous casual Mexican restaurant! I can’t say enough about their food. This has become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Their food is not only delicious and very flavorful, but the presentation is a work of art. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food before eating. Next time I will take some photos and update this review. Today, the three of us tried the Machete. It’s a large taco made with a 12 inch toasted tortilla loaded with your choice of protein, and lots of fresh vegetables and Mexican cheeses. It’s a very substantial meal. The food is served on stoneware and brought to your table to enjoy. Food is ordered at the register, and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are super friendly, and make sure that you’re satisfied with your meal. There is a free salsa bar available to spice up your food if you desire....
