How was Dino's restaurant? I was hoping you would ask. I just got back to work. I'm still nauseated. These brightly lit family restaurants with their massive menus, all day breakfasts and disposable paper ad placemats have often times been acceptable. They remind me of an independent version of Big Boy restaurant. However, Dino's makes me think of the type of restaurant that would be filled with smokers and ash trays on every table if our laws still allowed it. Unfortunately, I think Dino's needs to be chosen for a restaurant makeover show. The scrambled egg wrap was obviously put together by someone who hasn't a clue about food. A flour tortilla packed with a dozen scrambled eggs and nothing to make it thoughtful or unique. I wasn't as upset with the cold coffee as my dad was. Although, I was glad I didn't end up with his pancakes. The mentality of Dino's who thinks it's acceptable to pack 2 cups of bleached white flour into a single 12 inch pancake, and without warning an unknowing customer of the pending, syrup slurching stack you are about to receive, is unsettling. I imagine the somewhat preferable location encourages a flow of new customers enough to keep the lights on Dear Dino's, Since your not going to get chosen for the show Kitchen Nightmares, at least watch a full season ......
Read moreNew waitress. Hubby normally orders the dbl burger and waitress gets him extra fries since he doesn't want the soup. This time the soup wasn't ready and no one was budging on extra fries. Although food portions were smaller, the food was still tasty. Waitress got $20 tip. She didn't deserve it.
Update 4/22/2022 - Had a mtg scheduled for later during the morning and hubby took me out for breakfast. He arrived first, stating I would follow shortly and would need coffee. I arrived and we sat and watched other patrons arrive and be served while we sat. A blonde female wearing a ponytail, approached the register then reviewed tickets which were placed atop the counter. We watched her walk by us and into the kitchen area. We remained seated as we saw other waitresses serve others, laughing as they returned to the kitchen. I had enough and told hubby, "we're leaving." Hubby went up to blondie to tell him such (since we weren't being served). Blondie told hubby that she didn't see us. NEWS FLASH: She was the one greeted hubby at the counter and sat him at the booth. Blondie also stated that she was the only one taking care of everything and never saw us. Don't expect service unless you're a regular....
Read moreWow! Impressive service and delicious food. First time was excellent all around and before I dive in a little deeper, I would already recommend this establishment just by my gut instinct. I was greeted right away and seated very quickly. Server was absolutely amazing for her professionalism and kindness. Friendly, talkative all doing so with a smile. Clean and open atmosphere as it’s always good to see others enjoying the food as well. I had Dinos breakfast burrito and oh my! Was portioned bigger than expected and it could’ve been 2 meals though I did power through it. Eggs, ham and potatoes topped with gravy sauce. Delicious! Some say this place is a little pricey, I would disagree. Coffee was always filled which is a huge positive for me. Overall, 5 star all around. I will be back and again I recommend this for those who love a delicious breakfast. 2nd visit I tried the Dinos skillet. Ingredients were a little too finely chopped but tasted good. The gentleman who sat me was either the manager or head in charge as he sat me without question at Ambers section. She has been absolutely amazing and I hope she gets some kind of...
