I order on the app every time I come to Dunkin’ and I still have to wait every time, even when I order 30+ minutes ahead of time and push the “on my way” button. I was informed that even if you order on the app, if you choose “drive thru” as your pick up option they don’t even start making your order until you get to the speaker. Just seems like ordering on the app ahead of time doesn’t actually get you in and out any faster. Sometimes I have my 3 year old with me and can’t get easily in and out quick, which I why I choose the drive thru option.
When I called the store after I left to compliment the one person in the store who seemed like they had any sense of urgency in getting me in and out (thanks Gabby?) all I received was a lesson on why they don’t get your order ready until you get there about 3 times. When I informed the “manager” (and I use that term very loosely here) that I totally understand the process now and I was simply trying to compliment someone who did a good job she again tried to explain why they don’t make your order until you get to the store, even when you order on the app. When I asked to speak to her boss she started talking to another employee very loudly in the background saying, “I guess I’m rude because I’m trying to do my job and explain how the app works so she wants to talk to my boss.”
Very VERY dissatisfied with this store, will probably never be back.

Read moreI had a good experience and enjoy taking my kids there. Today the young girl who was about to take my order was attacked by another person at the register next to her. He told her she needed to tell every customer to take the survey or they would get in trouble at their team meeting. Then a manager came up to her and told her she did another order wrong and proceeded to tell her what she did wrong. All of this before she could even take my order and right in front of me, a customer. I felt so sorry for the girl who was about to take my order. This is not good customer service and you should not confront an employee in front of customers. Nobody is perfect, not even that manager and that other employee next to her but it was clear they do not care about helping and training their employees the correct way and not in front of customers. Waited couple of days and went back to order two different chocolate donuts and they were still out and every donut except for the powder ones and blueberry munchkins is all they had. I went on the app and at first the app to be contact corporate was really hard and as if they don’t want to hear from a customer, but finally got in. Then I get a private email sent from an iPhone from the General Manager of this place and saying it had to do with power outage, what power outage I’ve been up all mornin of that day I tried to order and no power outage went on, so I don’t take excuses as of why in two times in two days apart you would still be able to be out of.
