Five Guys — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

Five Guys just opened in St. Joseph, Mo. my husband never has been to a Five Guys so we tried it. Right off the cashier was rude. It was clear we had not been there before. My husband and I ordered cheese burger, fries, and a drink. The total was $25.06. That is very high for a hamburger. We waited awhile for our food but they were busy. The hamburger was good but the fries were soggy. There are signs everywhere saying how good the fries are. The fries are horrible. We ate and left. About a half hour later we started not felling well. Like our stomach was turning. We were both ill for the rest of the day. We are one time and done on Five Guys. Take my advise do not go. Ordered take out. Got home and it was wrong. Like totally wrong. Sucks as 5 guys is extremely overpriced. Upon entering the store there was some sort of satanic death metal blasting about eating babies or killing jesus. Rather strange. It was my first time eating here and I found the staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. The burger was cooked well and they have a lot to offer for toppings. Ordered a regular size order of fries and that was plenty for two people. They have an open kitchen which is nice. I like watching my food being prepared. The cleanliness is probably only three stars because most of the tables had not been wiped down from previous customers. Overall I think Five Guys is a great place and will...
