Must have been the first ones through the door just a little after 7 am. We were immediately seated. I picked this place for two reasons they open at 7 am and their prices aren't that bad. They don't serve alcohol unlike a few of the restaurants that open in the a.m. in this area. The French Toast was very good, thick, soft, not your typical cuts of bread. Bacon was on point. Eggs were decent. They didn't charge extra for the peanut butter, which was a surprise.
A buddy of mine got the Ravous Rancheros. He's a local and said it was better than other breakfast places where he's tried the Ravous Rancheros. Another buddy got a mushroom burger. He said it was very good as well.
The booths are pretty small 4 maximum in most of the booths. There are numerous areas to sit but doesn't look like any place for large families.
Kinds interesting set up. They had a container with only a few napkins but numerous forks and knives. More than what the table would need. The service was decent, seemed like their was only one server. But their was only 7 people in the restaurant.
Lastly they will serve breakfast lunch and dinner at anytime I believe. So that's a plus for night shifters. The place looked relatively clean and sanitary. The only reason for a 4 star is due to the delay in getting the bill and water stained menus. The food was delicious and definitely priced under what others are charging for ambiance and fancy stuff.
Returned for another meal - this time with a crew of 6. We went early in the a.m. and we were immediately seated. They do have a bigger room in the back with more booths and smaller tables. They were able to push a couple of tables together for us. This place has plenty of seating for a decent group of about 24. They've got more interesting "decorations", I'm pretty sure I saw a section of National Geographic magazines. Lots of interesting little nic nacks spread throughout that section as well. Again the French toast was awesome. Hope to be...
Read moreThis eclectic Cafe is in our rotation. The cafe has spacious yet private indoor seating, and a lovely patio/backyard area with a fountain during the warmer months. The entire cafe is decorated with art, antiques, odds and ends. The bathrooms are large and clean. Oh --and the food is very good!!!! I have never had a bad thing here. My normal go-to is the egg croissant sandwich, but I have branched out and tried other things as well. My partner usually gets a burger or a patty melt. This place is perfect to go for breakfast or lunch or if you are like us and one of you prefers breakfast and the other likes non-breakfast foods. If you are an early riser they have additional deals for people who order around 7am.
Some areas of the restaurant would be tricky to put a wheelchair --but the space is so large and there is such a diverse amount of seating options that there is something for everyone, including those who use mobility aids
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. One time, I came by the cafe 30 minutes before close and they still made me my egg sandwich, they just put it in a to-go box.
This cafe is a local gem to be enjoyed all year round, but especially in the summer. dogs are welcome here! I have seen many a dog enjoying the patio with their owners in the summer.
You must park on the street. No parking lot. But we have never run into any problems finding a spot on the...
Read moreCame for lunch on the patio and the first thing was that our waitress was wearing an AirPod while serving us. Then the plants were being watered with a hose right next to our table as we were eating and water was splashing everywhere. Then my step dad stepped inside to meet with a young couple to sign some paperwork and they had ordered food to eat while they talked. the servers proceeded to tell all of us we had to leave cause they were closing (I understand you’re trying to go home) but my step dad asked for just a couple more minutes while the young couple was trying to finish their food and they said no and that they could finish the paperwork outside. they then proceeded to start arguing and the workers were using their own personal issues to try and make a point. As someone who has worked as a waitress, I do not think any of this is okay. You should not be telling anyone about your own personal issues especially customers. I have also been in the same position where I am closing and would never kick out my customers especially when they politely asked for a couple of extra minutes. I’m just in awe at the fact that some people feel so comfortable using their own problems and beliefs against someone who kindly asked a simple question. Will not...
