Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Saint Paul

Takes over an hour every time we order this for "freaky fast" delivery, time of day/traffic means nothing, we live about 1.5 mile away and order this when we are sick and nothing else will stay down. We keep being tempted to cancel our orders for food safety reasons. Staff this place or shut it down. So expensive, too. The calorie count is frightening on a Slim sandwich and all I taste is salt, saltier than this review. Wow what happened Jimmy J's?? Just terrible in every way. $40 for 2 salty sandwiches that take 90-120 mins to arrive. I can order other places and get a gourmet sandwich and will do so from now on if they can't do the 1 thing they were supposed to do well - come quickly with delivery orders.

Update: Ordered twice in the past week. First order, over an hour to come. Second order, should have known better. Almost two hours. We were told we were getting a credit. Instead, we got double charged. They have yet to reverse it. We are done! I only order this when I am sick with my chronic stomach problem, as it's bland and mostly bread which is about all I can eat... sucks when you are too sick to make a sandwich yourself and overpay for junk like this and it can't even arrive before 10pm and you ordered at 8pm. Also, why does a Slim (just bread, meat, cheese) have almost my entire daily caloric intake? It's great for someone who is struggling to eat due to health issues but if you are not, really ask yourself that question... very odd. I know it's super salty but salt does not equal calories. How does 1 Sandwich, PLAIN with no mayo/oils/condiments, have an entire day's worth of calories?? Weird. Anyway, screw getting my money back it's a total waste of time. If they can't deliver a sandwich 7 blocks down the street, they definitely can't handle a cash register and it shows. I'll call my bank about the robbery on my card instead to report fraud since they keep double...

Man, I've ordered from this Jimmy Johns over a hundred times. Staple of my diet. This location consistently provides a fantastically fresh sammy. While I agree with many of the reviews that delivery can be a bit slow at times, the quality of the food completely makes up for it in my experience. I would compare the "slowness" to a "quick" pizza delivery. It really isn't that slow in the grand scheme of food delivery, but a bit slow for a Jimmy Johns franchise that has advertisements that go great lengths to make a point of fast delivery. At this point I'm probably just making excuses for my favorite location, but I feel like this store is pretty busy most of the time. Could be a reason for delivery times, can only leave the store with so many sammys before you gotta return and reup. But what about the employees? Super friendly and nice. I think the manager is starting to recognize me, which as a person with ridiculously stupid social anxiety sort of sucks, BUT i still come back to the in store which really is a testament to the chill vibe that's set here. No complaints onesoever. Anyways, I just wrote a review about a really inconsistent Jimmy's on Hudson and thought I'd leave this one about a very consistent Jimmy's. Ying and yang, ya know? Super freaky fast ? More like Super Slow! Super unpleasant experience today. I ordered on the app and went to pick it up. Pick up table had no orders. The guy in the middle of making sandwiches sees me, looking confused and asks my name, which I reply, thinking ok good, they know I’m here, I must be next… wrong 3 people who came in and ordered after me got there’s fast as could be! I go back up to the counter and by then the manager notices I haven’t gotten my stuff and he seen me come in… he ask the young man at the end of the assembly line about my order he says “oh I don’t know check behind me, but not that one ‘that’s mine!!’ “ that boy was so worried about his free employee meal, and his mom waiting outside that he completely forgot about me. Sad. I’m so disgusted with the experience , I haven’t bothered touching the food but i know it’s usually good so 5 there. But the atmosphere, never again. Waited 9 mins for a 2 slim Turkey...
