No one wants their loved one to need memory care and no memory care center is perfect. You will never feel like the care is as good as you could provide to your loved one but the reality is that I couldn’t care for my dad in my home. I only wish I would have found The Willows of Ramsey Hill sooner. When I found The willows, I had almost given up hope that my dad could keep his beloved dog with him but The Willows accommodated my dads dog (I provided/hired all cares). The communication by Chris was above and beyond. Jamie, the director of nursing, was thorough, kind, and a great communicator. The majority of the staff were dedicated and provided compassionate care to my dad when he was at his worst. Dementia is a horrible illness and the staff here treated my dad humanely even though the disease had stolen all his dignity. The staff cared for my dad as if he was their family. The Willows is a very special place. It starts with the management, made up of individuals like Chris, and Jamie, who are willing to listen, make changes as needed, and care about the residents. There is a problem-solving "yes" way of seeing and doing things, rather than a "no" approach. Flexibility and friendliness abound.

We have found the staff to be well-trained and dependable, as well as being kind, friendly, caring and courteous. The support staff is also pretty amazing, and plan several activities (root beer floats, exercises, concerts, birthday parties and trips outside of the campus) that the residents enjoy. It feels as if the staff is happy to be there. The food is well-made and cake abounds!

Our family is so grateful to The Willows of Ramsey Hill for the wonderful care our mom received. We visited many facilities before deciding on The Willows and we definitely feel we made the best choice and so happy there was an opening for her to live there. The staff took great care of her, activities and music were amazing, facility is beautiful and kept clean and cost was more affordable than other places we visited. It is very stressful trying to find a great place for your loved one to live and to hope they will be well taken care of. The Willows is certainly that place. We didn't worry about her care and knew she was in excellent hands, it was such a comfort to us during difficult times. We definitely recommend The Willows and so appreciate...
