So it's 6:30 in the morning and I just left the drive-thru I got to work a half hour early I work in a nursing home in st-charles. I told them I came because I wanted to get the elderly people all chocolate chip cookie and I wanted to have them individually wrapped but I would do it myself. All I asked was that they were fresh, not from yesterday the lady was very nice she said it took only about two minutes and that they would be fresh. The girl at the window taking my order was very polite the entire time. I had to come back through because only one cookie was fresh. The whole point of me giving this was so I could get fresh cookies for the elderly at the nursing home and I explained that to them I said I was sorry so many times it was ridiculous. I attempted to hand the manager at the window back the cookies several times he didn't take them. Then I had to go back through because my sandwich was wrong he took that one. I waited for my cookies and as I'm sitting there the girl came out to bring them to me and very rudely asked if I had the other cookies they gave me the first time that I already printed the hand back several times. Now, technically they should be throwing us away but it's 13 cookies. I've had issues before and they fix it and just tell you to keep the food because they're going to throw it away anyway. That makes me wonder. And honestly when I said I would pay for them anyways I offered to pay for them at the back window to the girl I offered to pay the difference for the sandwich that they messed up. She was polite told me don't worry about it. I feel like that was very long and them because I offered to pay for the old cookies anyways he said no one of them back now I don't even have the individual wrapping paper did I ask so I could hand them out due to covid that would be the only way I would be allowed to do it. Now I have 13 cookies smashed...
Read moreI wish McDonalds had healthier selection. The order at this location seems to be missing things. I know for some it’s their first job, but in the morning hours the coffee is never what you ask. These employees are much older.
You pay extra for espresso shots, and most of the time, they never put it in. Espresso is very distinctive. It’s much stronger. There’s no difference between the regular and two additional shots on most days. I’ve had them created by managers and they’re just right, but when not made by managers, they taste like a regular cup of mocha coffee.
There are days the burger simply tastes freezer burnt.
The fish sandwich is light and fluffy. It’s pretty good.
The breakfast food is usually always perfect.
I wish the front of the house had more employees at register because not everyone uses cards and it’s difficult to get a refill. It might be better if the boards collected cash and spat out change, but even then we need someone to fill our refill whether it’s water, tea, or even soda.
All in all this is our favorite location. They’re the better choice out of all locations in the entire Saint Charles county which also includes Saint Louis. Better choice! Dave worked his butt off for this location. We...
Read moreThis location is hands down the worse McDonald's location I've ever been to. From getting burgers that are inside out (from bottom to top it was bun, patty, cheese, bun, patty condiments) then thrown in the bag un wrapped and upside down soaking through the bag. Then another time I waited nearly an hour for a curbside order. Nothing huge, just 2 sandwiches, a fry, a couple pies, and couple beverages. As it turns out they kept bringing 2 other curbside orders as well at atleast 15 drive thru orders that were told to park during the time I was waiting, but never brought my food. It continually got cold and had to be remade multiple times. Other major issues is the fact that they seem incapable of listening and ensuring that orders are taken properly. Something as simple as biscuits and gravy with the gravy on the side. Which I wouldn't mind waiting a few extra minutes as its a special request. But I prefer this so my biscuits aren't soggy by the time I get home. Not to mention when their drive through is full, unlike other stores who kick it into gear and get though the line, this store tells nearly every car go pull past the second window and wait, even a simple...
