I am not one to EVER leave a bad review I believe in karma and I always give the benefit of the doubt having been in the service industry before and especially for dunkin I go there every day and love my latte's they make for me and everyone is always soooo sweet.
However today was not the case, I was on my phone when i pulled up to the drive thru on a business call, I also had my 2 year old in the back. I rolled down my window and heard nothing which I figured they were busy so it would be a minute no worries. I continued my work call, and my daughter also had her iPad playing cocomelon and within two seconds I hear in a very rude tone " you are very loud in our speaker but what do you want" I was in shock being that I didn't feel I was even talking loudly and even the person on the other side of my call said " did they seriously just say that to you, what amazing customer service they have". I agreed and said yeah that was extremely rude and asked again was I believe loud to my client?? what a nice "FACE" of the company to greet you.
I could understand if I had been screaming into a phone call or being irate or cursing and directing it at the speaker then yes please address me but this was not the case at all. I even paused my call when i first pulled up to the speaker and i rolled my window down waiting to hear someone ask for my order.
I finally ordered once i picked my jaw up off the ground, and when i got to the window and asked in a very calm tone and manner, " can i ask who took my order" the girl in the window (red hair i believe) points beside her to the woman staring me down as if ive already offended her.
All I WANTED to say to this woman but never had the chance to say, as a business owner myself in Gulfport that was not friendly customer service especially considering I was on a call talking in my car and if I was loud for her I do apologize everyone has their perspective but instead of being able to say anything The girl in the window hands me my order and lies right to my face and says " she didn't even say anything (with attitude) she just asked to take your order" (covering for her i get it I was in the service industry too) and again still talking calmly I said "actually she didn't and before I can speak anything out Ketchya who took my order(i believe is her name) leaps across this other girl in the window yelling at me HAVE A NICE DAY and continued yelling this at me while hanging her HEAD OUR THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW, at this point I was confused on what she considered to be loud in her standards of me talking on my phone in my car verses her now screaming at me I guess only other peoples voices are loud hers can be any volume she deems.
Now Keep in mind the only things ive said is " can i ask who took my order" and " that's actually not what she said to me". Also i have a 2 year old who had no clue why someone was yelling at her mother through a drive thru and is now crying and upset because we don't yell in my house and all because I wanted to know was why I was addressed that way all I wanted was a latte and hashbrowns for my child, I guess we are in a society where someone can address you any way they like but you are not allowed to ask why or feel offended.
I am a very professional person, never do i have interactions like this but I was very insulted at how I was addressed at a place i frequent every day for my coffee, also I don't know how to accurately spell her name because right before she screamed at me I asked what her name was because she clearly had a bad day and was directing it at me, she quickly covered her name tag keeping me from seeing it, I caught enough of it though to attempt to spell it.
Now if she had done nothing wrong and was not treating customers poorly why would she need to cover her name tag. I also wrote this to corporate. My reviews are always positive i hate that I even had this experience especially with my 2 year old in the car. I hope her day gets better and she finds peace in her...
Read moreHi, im not usually one to give or make a review as such because usually this location has great service and a polite crew but today i waited in line for 25-30 mins i figure ok they are really busy as i work in fast food as well so i had a little understanding. The car line was out to the road the parking lot was full i had an online order so i waited in line it wasnt moving for at least 15mins at first. I finally get to the speaker and no one answers so i wait 5min no one still answers so i pull to the window a guy comes walking out to the drive thru line where i was already at the window telling me they are a bit backed up and he just came out to apologize because he seen how long i waited in line at the speaker. I proceed to say i just have an online order and he goes inside to get it he comes to the drive thru window and trys to verify my order i get my breakfast sandwhich an mini bagel bag then i get my ice coffee then they ask what donuts i had i tell them i get the bag he appologizes again. I get home my sausage egg and cheese sandwhich is cold i ordered it with an extra piece of cheddar cheese it only had one that was burnt at the bottom my bagel minis were cold inside and my donuts were completly wrong. I ordered a chocolate glazed and a frosted vanilla creme and got a chocolate frosted and boston creme they did tell me they were out of the frosted vanilla creme i then asked them for a regular vanilla creme with the powder they didnt know what that was so i assume they just put boston in the bag. I also ordered a med winter blend ice coffee with 2mocha, 2cream which was correct but tasted very bitter for some reason again i know sometimes there are mistakes or there may have to be replacements because things may be out of stock but if its an on the go ticket how can that be wrong if it says whats on the order so my breakfast wasn’t all the enjoyable today and the things is i like this location because it usually is on point most of the time i stop by but today just wasnt one. I dint want to go back to justify because...
Read moreThis location needs serious help. The drive thru takes forever. I have literally sat in this drive thru and timed the wait. Around15 minutes on several occasions and just left due to slow service along with others in the same line. They leave you at the speaker waiting. The hasbrowns always come out burnt and shredded. Their snacking bacon is half the time burnt and just regular bacon and they have no sense of consistency with their drinks or their prices. Always a poorly made drink. No-one wants an inch of unstirred sugar in the bottom of their cup, watered down coffee or a cup of cream. The customer service here is very poor and the employees act as though they don't care or weren't trained any better for a customer service position. I know several including myself who refuse to frequent this location any longer due to the poor service, hair in food as well as seeing bugs. Should consider cleaning this location up. Customers want consistency and cleanliness with...
