GulfPerk Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Such a great little spot. I've been here a few times. Breakfast on their beautiful front patio with trees, tropical shrubs is such a stress reliever that you feel happy and can easily focus on work! Great spot for a coffee with friends, you can tell it's a fave with the locals. Nice small community feel. Indoors is cozy.

The coffee is great! To date this is the best mocha I've ever had. I customized it with coconut milk, which wasn't too thick or too watery. Not too sweet, the level of espresso is balanced. They also have WIFI! Renewable after 90 minutes.

Two wishes: 1. more GF options. They have tempting sandwiches, but no gluten free bread. The quiche has no crust, so I had that. It wasn't bad but could have been better. Well-priced. Generally, I find that cooks in the whole area don't use herbs or spices, but you have no idea what you are missing! How do you make boring egg dishes "pop"? With herbs and spices. Just a pinch and see what happens ;)...

This quaint little coffee house is one of GulfPort's hidden treasures. Quiet, relaxing and decorated with all of its seaside charm, it holds the yummiest sandwich and coffees. From their Lox bagels to their fresh cranberry chicken salad sandwich. Today I was overwhelmed by the delicious taste of the Avacado Toast. Absolutely the best if every had! If your just in the mood for specialty coffee, you've also come to the right place. "Gulf Perk Coffee Bar" specializes in producing the most delicious coffee. Drip coffee, Lattes, specialities and espressos are on the menu. And don't forget to ask for their varieties of milk. Soy, almond and oat milk are a great add-in to your morning wake up drink. So if your in town or just passing by, take some time to stop by and sit a while. Bring a board game with your friends and enjoy this cozy little cafe. Michelle, the owner, would love to serve you. We visited Gulfport for the first time and stopped at Gulfperk every morning during our stay! The team working there is outstanding. Yes, “team!” They all work together, everyone does everything and effortlessly change roles as needed to keep up with the traffic flow. It’s a smaller place and can get pretty busy so it’s a little bit awkward when a line forms as it flows into the dining and drink area; but because the team is so great and friendly and efficient, they don’t get flustered and know exactly how to handle a crowd! Having eaten there for three days, it was nice to see the team greet the regulars by name and treat EVERYONE so well! If we lived there, we would be regulars, too! In addition to the fantastic service, the coffee and food were excellent as well. We had sandwiches and baked goods which are supplied by a local bakery. I would definitely recommend starting your day...
